I using for my CLS63AMG Mercedes
It is not broken yet.lolStill working today since six month ago.I was on the fence, Bosch or Ctek.but charging program's altitude is better than Ctek battery charger.I recommend Germany manufacturer Bosch or Sweden Ctek(Mercedes Benz genuine) Battery charger about German Valta AGM(Mercedes, Audi, BMW genuine) battery.I could using also in Japan.(United States is 120V AC, Japan is 100V AC, and the same AC plug)I not recommend NOCO genius about use for European and Japanese luxury car. There is a possibility of causing trouble in the car's ECU and battery.Ten months have passed but there is no problem at all. It is not broken. This is good changer, I recordsrecommend it.

All-around performer.
This is a fine charger for light-duty applications.I was surprised by the small size of this unit. It is nicely designed with an LED display for monitoring essential functions. The unit comes with a few accessories for charging a variety of 6v and 12v batteries. With its 3.8 Amp output, it is not going to be a speed demon. Most important to me are the clamps for open contact batteries, like those found in automobiles. I admit to feeling nervous every time I connect a charger to a car battery, always nervously expecting a shower of sparks. The SCPLUS has several built-in features to prevent that! Yea!Overall, a nicely designed unit with a good, but not superlative, feature set and acceptable, if somewhat modest, performance. The documentation could be substantially more informative.Jerry

I would think quality control would catch something like this. It is good the device has reverse ...
The charger itself may be ok, time will tell, unfortunately the polarity of the motorcycle charging adapter was reversed. I plugged it into two different motorcycles thinking maybe one of the bikes was reversed (both showed REV on the device), then traced the wires and confirmed the motorcycles were correct. I then used a multi-meter to verify the results. The charger itself has the correct polarity, as soon as the motorcycle adapter is plugged in, the polarity is reversed (red is -). I would think quality control would catch something like this. It is good the device has reverse polarity protection or it would have shorted instantly. It makes me think twice about the quality of the charger itself.I would have sent it back for a replacement, however, it looks like they are out of stock for 1 to 2 months. So I will just connect it to my batteries using the alligator clip attachment. Maybe Bosch will send a new motorcycle adapter, that or I will have to fix the one that came with the unit.

What battery is afraid of this charger?
But I haven't used it. Since it has arrived, the battery in the minivan has decided to keep working. So maybe with the scare factor it rated a "I love It"

Yup, easy, good, handy
Yes, works great for all the small (2-5 amp) batteries I have and it's well built so it sustains a minor drop

Very helpful to me.
Something is dragging my auto battery down after only a few days. Two mechanics have looked for the problem, but could not find anything. I have hooked this to the battery to keep it charged, and it works (so far, at least). Be aware that the wiring harness that is listed as part of the product is in fact not included (and I returned one and the replacement also did not have the part). It was a requirement for me, so I was able to purchase one on Amazon (a 4 foot cable that attaches to the battery on one end and has a connector to match this charger on the other).

It's a great tender
There were some issues, as we use it for tending motorcycles, it was put on a charged battery and it was giving out a full charge, for a certain time, 4 hours I think, then it went into tending trickle mode, we were concerned what this would do to the battery, but it seemed okay. There are some restrictions that don't come with the old battery chargers, so you need to read the directions if you're older and used to the old tenders. The feature of insulated clamps is great for a motorcycle because of the difficulty of fitting the old clamps so that they didn't touch the frame of the motorcycle, (Harley, not Japanese). But if you read the directions, it's a really nice high tech battery charger/tender. We couldn't test it on a car as none of our cars have dead batteries, I waited, but no dead batteries, so we use it just to tend the motorcycles.
