Back cover of Rocket Book can slide in vertical “slit” behind paper pad and rest on top of 8x10 note pad included. If you have a Rocket Book in a tablet configuration you can slide it’s back page down in top “slit” that holds the pad. The “leather”binder material lays flat when open. I used the flexible “cell phone holder” for holding the page cleaning cloth. Lots of pen holders that even hold thicker 4 color pens. The folding cell phone brackets that can hold your cell upright on the inside cover while writing, really fits even a thicker protective cell cover. You just have to push it in the holder and it gives in a bit and will fit. Nice to have your cell next to the pad and securely visible wherever your notebook goes! This model has handles that really do stay flush on the front/back by magnets when working and easily pop out to reasonably strong loop handles.

I love it! I’m a personal trainer and I use this to keep track of all my clients programming. The smaller pockets and zipper are a little difficult to put papers in and out of (tight fit, I keep organizational sticky tabs in them) and the top ring has bent slightly but part of that is because I’m pretty rough on it, taking it to the floor and picking it up and down as my clients exercise.It looks super sleek and professional though, and organization tabs fit perfectly inside. Definitely worth the money, highly recommend it if you’re looking for a binder with a professional feel!TLDR: works great, looks great, top ring bent slightly from rough use, fits tab papers, small pockets are slightly hard to access

For the money? Can't be beat. Is it high quality? You won't get better for the money. That said, it isn't top, but gee, I don't expect them to lose money on a product. This is what I consider getting bang for my buck. The cover, pockets ( lots) zipper, binder rings, are all decent. No complaints. The binder rings open and close correctly. The pad that comes with it is flimsy and small number of pages. So? I'll buy a good one. It's not the reason for this acquisition. I love all the pockets! The ability to zip so many different things together for transport to meetings and for travel is very convenient.

I used the portfolio to house all my materials for a job interview. It was perfect for the price. Definitely recommend saving a little money and going with this option! Everything worked perfectly and the leather wasn't scratched or discolored at all. The prongs for the binder are big enough to hold anything you would need. The zipper did not get stuck at all is still smooth.

This thing is nearly perfect. That being said, the pad of paper inside is not. I got 2 different padfolios and both of the pads were a wrinkled mess. I think they should just stop including that with the product because it really decreased the overall quality of it. Luckily I had no interest in the paper anyways.

Needed something to carry a few papers in for a little while and this will fit that bill. Overall construction is good for the price paid. I don't expect it will last very long though. The die color is an off brown that is much lighter than the image shows.A couple of things I didn't take into consideration until I started to put things into this portfolio. The pen loops interfere with your ability to lay paper down flat and write on the backside. This is something I should have given thought to prior to purchasing so that is on me. The second is that the rings for the 3 ring binder are extremely flimsy and it doesn't take much effort to get them out of line.
