Love them
This magnet is absolutely incredible! The strength is way beyond what I expected—it holds heavy objects securely and doesn’t budge. I’ve tested it on metal surfaces, tools, and even DIY projects, and it performed flawlessly every time. The build quality feels solid and durable, and it doesn’t show any signs of wear even after heavy use. If you’re looking for a magnet that’s powerful, reliable, and versatile, this one is definitely worth it. It’s a must-have for workshops, garages, or any place where a strong magnetic hold is needed.

Super strong
These things are definitely strong. I put them in my gun cabinet and there is no issues holding 4 pistols and an old heavy revolver. I don't move the magnets themselves enough to know if they durable or not but theyve held up just find for me. They're perfect for storing anything that can stick to a magnet really. If you them directly on a metal surface tho I'd advise making sure you plan on keeping it directly in that spot.

Only one caveat…
Compact and powerful. Two of these hold up Roman style blinds hanging on a steel door - even when I pull down HARD. Only negative is that it is easy to over-torque the mounting screws which will break the relatively fragile magnet that is within the sleeve.

very powerful but mounting can..
Sometimes be a bit difficult. These are not your refrigerator magnets but they will work that way (more later) As some have said.. they are fragile. All real magnets are. They come in a very nice bracket with holes on each end for mounting and the wood screws to do so. If you are mounting on wood? they work great. Just don't tighten the screws to much or you can actually break the magnet. snug is good. for mounting on say a fridge... The magnets will stick to the fridge as any other but... They are powerful. Whatever metal like a knife that you stick to them? when you go to pull the knife off it will take the magnet with it. My solution was to just put a few drops of super glue to the back of the magnet before letting it stick to the fridge. Now it is stuck to the fridge more than to whatever you are sticking to the magnet. if that makes sense. With just one of these magnets I mounted, using super glue and the magnets natural force, a stubby hammer that weighed close to a pound. it secured the hammer with force you can feel. On wood the screws do the job. Very pleased. The chrome plate is attractive also.

Not as powerful as I thought
Does alright but not quite the power I thought they would have. I am trying to use the magnets from the other side of a material to hold an object on the other side. At first attempt I failed but maybe with more magnets it will happen. The 45 lbs test weight seems high though. P.S. the material I'm working "through" is about as thin as anything. Less than an 1/16".

SERIOUSLY STRONG MAGNETS
Holy moly. These magnetic strips are STRONG. HINT: Try not to let them stick to each other. Keep something sturdy between them because they are a beast to pull apart. The strength is what I needed and that’s what I got. I screwed them to the wall in my shop and I could put a metal can against them and they held strong. The plastic containers with screws etc- I taped a small piece of metal to the bottle and the magnet holds them strong. I also strung string through them and put them on two different metal doors and used them to help pull the doors shut. (Easier for a disabled person). I love these magnets and expect to get lots of use from them.
