Works well. Reloaded a clean version of windows for security concerns. Generally very quiet but sometimes fan ramps up to full speed. Very happy with value.

If this was TRULY "refurbished" it would WORK correctly or they would have found it had bad internal parts and scrapped it. The USB WIFI dongle lost connection 10 times in 10 minutes during set up. (The Router is 10 feet away with direct line of sight). I didn't use the wired keyboard and mouse that came with it. I purchased a Wireless Keyboard/Mouse HP Combo from Amazon.... I need it to be wireless because the distance from pc to me is too far for wired connections. The wireless mouse and keyboard lost connection 8 times in 10 minutes. It seems certain there are issues with the USB inputs. ALSO - I did NOT see any WIFI 6 option at all. It only showed me 2.4Ghz options. It did NOT even show me my 5Ghz band either. After 10 minutes I gave up on it. RETURNING IT for REFUND.

It was a quick purchase to use while working from home. I didn't want to invest a lot in what I thought would be a temporary situation. It's turned out to be much longer than anticipated and this Elitedesk does everything I need it to do. It requires minimal space, and it handles all my devices and software flawlessly. While I was not thrilled with the audio out port in front, I ditched my PC speakers for a Bluetooth Erkei Sehn and they pair perfectly. Overall, I'm very happy with this HP computer. arrived with new wired keyboard and mouse (really cheap ones, but if you don't have them laying around, very handy). Worked well out of the box, no major cosmetic issues. I did find out later, when upgrading the RAM, that they took out the 2.5 SSD caddy and cables from the PC - not mentioned anywhere on the description, so you have to get them from ebay for 15.00 or so, if you want to add an SSD. Other than that, perfectly acceptable.

Works great for anything thrown at it, outside gaming. Using it to serve Plex

This is the 2nd HP Elitebook for my office. Providing that you pick the right specs for what you want, I am very pleased with this machine. It's fast, powerful and at a reasonable price. I'm happy with this refurbisher as well, however I did have to send a machine back last week to another refurbisher but not these guys. I am glad that Amazon helps with the risk of taking on a refurbished machine by allowing returns if there is something wrong.

This PC was supposed to have a 35 watt CPU and it came with a 65 watt CPU. The power supply it came with is sized for a 35 watt CPU. The heat sink is too small for this hot of a CPU. The CPU gets hot and throttles itself down to keep it from burning up. The fan is much more noisy than it should be. The power supply is not big enough to supply power to the 65 watt CPU plus all the USB ports. This computer will be returned. My son and I have each had this happen once before on an 8700T CPU Elitedesk from Amazon. This is a big Amazon fail. Amazon needs to quit doing business with refurbishers that do this stuff.

I was happy to get the correct power adapter, so often they send you an unoriginal power adapter, which isn’t ideal with a mini-PC. Got this mini PC to run as a mini server since the idle power consumption is only about 6W. Was able to get two large NVMe drives installed and some extra RAM so I can run a couple of VM’s and host a file/print/media server. I haven’t tried getting the 2.5GBe module (not sure if it works on the G5). Only complaint I had about the refurbished condition is they didn’t clean the inside out, really dusty inside, though the outside was clean and in good shape. It was well packaged.
