I am a little late in writing this review. Got this mount in September and almost forgot to come back and write the review. We really like this mount as it checks all ares (except 1 small thing that will make it the only mount to ever dream about) Likes: 1. This is a very solid mount that is quality built, and heavyu safe dfeeling for phone 2. Can be mounted both ways - on the dash, or on the car vent. I did not realize it first and was frustrated as my mini van dash does not have enough hang closer to me, so went with the air vents and could not be happier 3. It holds up phone really well, and we now just slide the phone in gently and don't have to press/release the lever every time 4. Does not shake when driving. I like how it feels stuck solidly and not shaking like my previous mount Wishlist 1. I wish it dod have the press button to secure feature like Ottie one touch has, and it would be just perfect. I don't like Otties' sudden clamp and cringe at that. But this mount has very soft closing edges and would love to see if this could implement that Woulod definitley suggest this to my friends to buy!

The part that mounts to the dash is great! Good firm grip, it stays where you put it But, the part that actually holds your phone is flimsy, weak, not thought through construction. Does not manage to hold the phone in the positiob you want because you can't tighten the lock enough so it drops down. In short: attaches perfectly to dash, attaches extremely poorly to your phone. Back to the drawing bord!

This mount is almost perfect! It holds great on my dash and I love how you can lock it in the position that works best for you. The only issue is the grip that holds the phone is not quite big enough. I have a slim phone case and the mount does not hold as securely as I would like. Other than that it is great! Definitely worth the purchase

I am pleasantly surprised by how well ,made this holder actually is. Both the holder of the phone, and the dash clamp have some good weight to them, which I feel is a good thing. The rubber mat that holds back of phone in place is seems sufficient; however, I would like to have more grip power. The side grips work very well to hold phone in place, and I have a wide, tall phone. The release tabs are easy to uae and are quite responsive. While a very good addition the two little bars for the phone to sit on actually prevent me from using my headphone jack. The foot and the headphone jack happen to be right on the same level. I do have a work around. I have a converter for the headphone jack into USB-C. As for the Dash Clamp. While it indeed exceeds other models, I think it would be great to have it lined with a stickier padding so the clamp would hold on dash better. The air vent clamp works very well. However, I live in the Deep South, where it is hot and my car is begging for some breaks, but is keeping me cool. I do not have a spare vent that I can use for the phone. I readily admit that the measurements of my phone place it in the top of the clearances to use this holder, including case it is 7.25in Long x 3.75in wide and 3/8 inch deep. Even though I will have to make a couple of adjustments, I think the quality of this holder will make it worth it.

This phone holder worked well for a couple of a couple of months and then just snapped. Made of cheap/weak plastic and unable to hold the weight of an iPhone 13 Max for more than ~60 days or so. Now a useless piece of plastic to be re-cycled. Don’t purchase this product, save your money and buy something that actually works as it’s intended.

I am surprised of how sturdy it is and how well it holds my phone. It is well designed and made from good quality material that will last a long time. My phone plus my rugged case are quite heavy but no problem for this phone holder. Since I have nowhere to place the clamp, the air vent holder is my only go and still works just as well (works great on bumpy roads) It is easy to manipulate, the release bars work great, and the greatest thing is that I can still charge my phone while it is holding it since it doesn’t interfere with my charging jack. I would definitely buy it again as a gift or recommend it as well.

Doesn't fit the dash of a 2019 Honda Fit

This is exactly what I was looking for. I travel for work, and was looking for a sturdy phone holder that could be mounted just below my eyeline so I can glance down to view navigation without turning my head away from the road. This fits that bill perfectly. The spring clip is strong and sturdy, and grips the dashboard very well. There is no sloppy movement or loosening as I've experienced with gooseneck arm suction cup holders and it doesn't block the vent with a clip. I highly recommend this phone holder if you're looking for a low profile and sturdy way to use navigation your phone while keeping your eyes on the road.
