Excellent Sound and Impressive Quality!
I recently got my hands on the JBL Reflect Aero True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds, and they have quickly become my go-to pair for everything from workouts to work calls. Here’s why they stand out: Sound Quality: The sound is exceptional, with deep bass and clear mids and highs. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio is crisp and immersive. JBL never disappoints when it comes to delivering great sound. Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature is a game-changer, especially in noisy environments. It effectively blocks out background noise, allowing me to focus on my music or calls without distractions. The ANC is adjustable, which is a nice touch for when you want to be aware of your surroundings. Call Quality: With 6 built-in mics and VoiceAware technology, call quality is top-notch. The person on the other end hears me clearly, even in windy or noisy conditions. I appreciate the clarity and consistency of the calls, which is essential for work. Fit and Comfort: The earbuds are designed with a secure fit in mind, and they stay in place even during intense workouts. They come with multiple ear tip sizes, so it’s easy to find the perfect fit. They’re also comfortable to wear for extended periods, which is a big plus. Battery Life: The battery life is impressive, with hours of playback time even with ANC turned on. The charging case provides additional charges, making it easy to keep them powered up on the go. Design: The sleek and modern design looks great, and the build quality feels premium. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to adjust settings or skip tracks without pulling out my phone. Conclusion: Overall, the JBL Reflect Aero True Wireless Earbuds are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for high-quality sound, effective noise cancellation, and reliable call performance. They’re perfect for both everyday use and more demanding activities. Highly recommend!

Save your money and your frustration
I recommend you DO NOT BUY these earbuds. If you're like me, you look at the features and the price and think, "Hmmm... maybe this is a good value." I advise you to think again. Buying these earbuds is tantamount to buying a little box of frustration. They just are NOT ready for prime time. I will concede that the sound quality is good -- better than my AirPods -- but what good does that do when you can NEVER get them to work correctly? Nothing goes smoothly. I am constantly beset with issues. Here are some of the chronic ones: 1. They don't always charge in the case because they don't line up. If you attach the little rubber "wings" those will interfere with charging, too. When you go to use them, you then realize they weren't charging and they are now non-functional. 2. They don't reliably connect to bluetooth. Even when they show as connected, the music often doesn't come out of the right one. 3. They fall out. No matter what you do, they fall out! 4. They are never, ever comfortable in my ears. My ear canals are irritated from them. 5. The "ear fit" process does not work. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it to say I had a good fit, using all different sizes of ear cushions. NEVER did I get it to say I had a good fit. What a bummer to buy a brand new product, and have it march you over and over through an unsuccessful process of fitting to your ears. Right out of the box you feel like you have something defective in your hands, or you have defective ears. 6. Pairing and restarting is not intuitive at all. When I am in the JBL app and I click the link for how to restart, it doesn't bring me to instructions for restart. Instead it brings me to the entire 44-page microscopic-font "quick setup" guide. Basically it says "Here, figure it out yourself." Then it attempts (unsuccessfully) to communicate with pictures and icons. Useless. 7. Software update is flaky. It took me half a dozen attempts to update before it worked. Constantly lost bluetooth connection in the process. 8. Chat with tech support was unhelpful. They just emailed me a list of things to try. They were apologetic but unable to help. I write this now, having actually gotten the headphones to work correctly, after 45 minutes to an hour of work. Screw these earbuds. JBL just offered me 35% off of buying something else from their store, but I'll never buy another JBL product after my experience with these. My Airpods have literally worked 100% of the time with zero issues. Never even had to think about charging, or software updates. To use these JBL Reflect Aeros you need to be a damn system administrator.

Great sound but…
Pros: great sound, supportive app Cons: uncomfortable for long periods of use, doesn’t get very loud. The main cons: one reason I had to return this item was that it would not fully charge, neither the ear buds themselves or the charging case would ever get to a 100% charge after hours of charging. The second reason was that the earbuds would often not disconnect or reconnnect to my phone when I placed them into or pulled them from the charging case, I would take them out of my ears and put them in the case then get a call and was unable to hear the person only to realize the sound was coming from the earbuds in the charging case! I would end up having to go to the Bluetooth settings in my phone to disconnect them. Very frustrating and a waste of time.

Solid temporary headphones
It’s been a little over a year and these currently do not hold a charge for over 10 minutes tops. When I first purchased the headphones worked great, noise cancellation and ambient features were solid as well. It fit well in my ears, easy to set up and worked well for runs. Now though even after charging for hours within the first 5-10 minutes I’ll get a low battery alert and they’ll abruptly shut off. I’d recommend only as a transitionary headphones to use while you are saving to get something better

The JBL earbuds stay in your ears when running
First, I bought the Bose, but the first pair's left ear soon died. Send them back and reordered them. The second pair developed the same problem. Sound quality and noise cancellation were superb. Next, I bought the new Sony earbuds which had a great conversation feature--if you talk, they shut down for a bit. The sound quality was almost up to the Bose, but they would not stay in my ears while I sat at my desk. I changed earbuds and bought silicone ones, but they still fell out too easily. Finally, after reading tech recommendations in the NY Times, I bought the JBL earbuds, which didn't have the sound quality or the intense noise cancellation of the Bose or Sony but stayed in my ears while I ran. If Bose gets their act together, those are great. If you plan to use your earbuds during exercise, the JBLs are the best.

1 star is one too many
These earbuds are on the quiet side, but that’s something I can live with. What I can’t live with is that no matter which ear tips you use and whether or not the fit test passed, they will slip out of your ear, wingtips or not. They just work themselves out while running. But even that I could have lived with, if it weren’t for the charging case, which makes it impossible to judge whether you placed the earbuds in there correctly. More often than not, one bud wouldn’t charge. And yes, I cleaned the buds and contacts as suggested. Finally, at the end of December, the right earbud wouldn’t even charge reliably. And when it was charged, the volume was very low. So please do yourself a favor and buy something with a more reliable design. The sound was nice when they worked and the built in EQ and the several adjustment levels for ambient aware were also nice. But what good does that, if you can only listen on one ear ? I thankfully had the insurance from Amazon, so I received a store credit after contacting the insurer and now I have Beats Fit Pro. They are more expensive but they work like a charm.

Good Buy AirPods Pro 1
Great price for great sound. I actually only got these because my AirPod Pro Gen 1 was acting up on noise cancelling. I didn't want to reward Apple by giving them more money, so I jumped over the Wall Garden fence into JBL. While I miss the seamless integration with iOS and other Apple devices, I don't have any issues with the JBLs, especially if you are only pairing them with 1 or 2 devices. Definitely get the app on your phone because it will open up more features. I prefer the sound profile of these to the AirPods Pros Gen 1, but I do miss spacial audio. I think the JBLs have better bass, and I listen to many bass heavy tracks. No wireless charging, but that can be iffy, so wired charging is a feature to me. The noise cancelling is not as good, and absent aware is not great with wind noises. I got them when they were $49.99, so I can buy 3 more and still save money from not buying the AirPod Pros. Awesome!

Fit Better Than NMost Ear Buds For Me
I was actually a little concerned about fit since I have had little luck with past ear buds and considering the price, reasonably so. I found thought that the fit was the best I had ever had with ear buds! One drawback is the price. They don't come cheap. So was the high price worth it? Well, I found the sound to be better than most of the ear buds I have tried. That was a plus. As for the ambient sound vs noise reduction, there is a HUGE difference compared to the others! I was drving a loud noisy diesel truck and it had no bluetooth. Of course, even if it did, I probably wouldn't be able to hear it over the diesel noise that is so prevalent. The JBL Aeros overcame the noise with no problem. I mentioned fitment. I have trouble getting ear buds to stay in my ear. And since these are waterproof, I was planning on using them at my complex swimming pool so retention was critical. It took me a little effort to figure out how to get them to fit my ear properly. But once I did, they stayed unlike the others. They also have 3 different cups to fit various ear sizes. Those plusses made them worth it to me. The reason I didn't give them 4 stars is the price. They are head and shoulders above the prices of any I have so far looked at. In fact, on average I would dare say double that of most ear buds. For me they were worth it. Others maybe not so much.
