Works great if you don't want to run wires thru the wall or ceiling. Easy to hook up with some electrical knowledge of house wiring. Switch can hang on the wall or be portable.

This gadget saved my bathroom design. I wanted a corner accent light in our renovated bathroom, but did not want it to turn on with the other ceiling lights. They were different hues. This adapter made the pendant light work independently. It did not need a plug, it just goes installed with the wires. You could hide the switch or place it wherever you like.

I installed four Suraielec switches and really enjoyed the ease of setup and functionality. I deducted a start due to lack of customer service and no wifi. I've got them controlling recessed lighting (Cloudy Bay which is amazing). The Cloudy Bay product is very versitile, but difficut to explain voice commands to guests. With the Suraielec switch they can turn on and off all the lights at once. I installed a fifth switch and two rooms with the Cloudy Bay lights started turning on randomly. I decided to return to Amazon for a replacement. The replacement switch seems to be working fine and the lights are staying off in both rooms. When I wrote to Suriaelec support, the email could not be sent. I saw a couple reviews where lights were randomly lit which also reported the lack of Customer Support. If you want a nice simple setup, buy this switch. Expect to replace 20%; this is worth it to me though I would like a remote switch I could control with WiFi.

I wanted to move three light switches without having to run new wiring to their new location and these remotes seemed the perfect solution. As each switch operated four spotlights, I wanted to put the receiver into the wall box rather than at the light fitting.However, the existing wiring took a little investigating - I had to identify which wires were hot for each switch (sometimes black, sometimes white) and there was a common neutral for two of them. The third switch had red, black and white wiring but connecting each to the corresponding red, black and white on the receiver didn’t work!Fortunately, Rachel. the tech support at Suraelec, was excellent - she replied to all of my messages overnight with clear advice and photos.All three switches are now relocated with the receivers tucked into the existing wall box and working. The key is to ignore the existing color coding and work out which wire is hot, which is the load and also ensure the receiver white wire is connected to a neutral.The switches and receivers are well made and I would use them again to avoid rewiring

Works great for our kitchen light that had a switch behind our microwave. It was easy to install and place the remote switch in a more convenient location. It worked immediately and flawlessly. Would definitely recommend.
