Runs Small, So Size Up — Excellent Quality
I normally wear a size 9 and sized up half a size based on recommendations—glad I did, as they run small. Excellent quality, very comfortable, and feel sturdy. Great value for money.

Merrell Goretex boots
I have had many pairs of these boots down the years and will buy more when these wear out. Comfortable, flexible and 100% waterproof and very breathable. A bit chilly in very cold conditions but with a good pair of socks these are excellent boots.

Fits well, comfy and rigid, but please order 1/2 size bigger
Almost all of my shoes are UK8 but I had to order UK8.5 as these are slightly narrower. Other than that, these shoes are perfectly comfortable even after long periods of walking. I work at a warehouse that involves a lot of walking - like 40,000 steps on average within a 10-hr shift, but trainers are too soft for my work environment (try kicking a pallet's corner in those...) so these shoes with a slightly more rigid build is perfect for the job. I've had these for more than 6 months now so that's roughly 1000 hours of use and they're still looking great. I couldn't recommend them enough so 5 stars from me.

Great straight out of the box.. but not waterproof
Very comfortable straight out of the box. Bought for summer hikes and as a lightweight alternative to my Iturris’ (Altbergs). No way are these waterproof, but that’s ok with me. I knew they wouldn’t be. Normally a UK size 9-9.5. I purchased a UK 10 and it fits perfect (for me)

Fantastic walking shoes waterproof and comfortable to wear from day 1
I’ve been walking in these Moab 3 GTX for the last 11 months averaging 450k steps per month. Mostly on paths and pavements with some grass/gravel tracks thrown in. I’ve found them to be excellent walking shoes in all conditions, waterproofing is spot on. Comfortable to wear from day one. I take a UK11 in all other shoes but needed a 12.5 in these. The heel of the shoe has finally worn out so they need replacing, wouldn’t consider any other alternative as these have been great. Would highly recommend.

Felt spot-on straight out of the box
I've worn to failure quite a few pairs of hiking boots. Berghaus, Scarpa and Brasher pairs lasted the longest (the last, though sturdy, did feel like a pair of housebricks on my feet sometimes). As I'm in my seventh decade now I fancied a light but rugged boot and after a bit of research chose these. They arrived within a day (today) as promised. The fit is comfortable. I take a UK 9 and, unlike other reviewers, didn't need to go up a size. My left foot is slightly smaller than my right one but these boots accommodated the difference without any problem. I've just got back from a 2.5 mile road test at a brisk pace to check for any hot spots or pinch points and I'm happy to report no discomfort at all. They are as comfortable on as a light pair of NIkes I used to have which were little more than trainers but there's a much more reassuring, solid, 'rubber on the road' feel to these despite their light weight. First impression is very positive. I'm hoping to update this review over time as I start to use them in, if not anger, then a little bit of vigour.

Merrell Moab 3 gtx size 9.5
Great so far. Went up half a size as recommended, boots were very comfortable from the off, with no need to breaking. Waterproof so far and the sole have good support and grip. Will buy again ,especially when discounted.

Sizing is way off (too small) and the 1/2 sizes dont seem much different.
Seems well enough made but I think is a bit tight on sizing. My usual size 10, was too tight. Ordered a 10.5 and it didn't seem any bigger than the 10. The sizing therefore seems very inaccurate which in my opinion is a sign of suspect manufacturing qualility, therefore I've downgraded to 1 star.
