Rimmel Insta Fix & Matte Setting Powder, Translucent, 0.28 Ounce

I've had oily skin all my life. I've used high-end department store brands to drugstore brands... and nothing has quite worked until I found this item. Ladies (and gents, if you are prone to shiny oily skin) -- this WORKS. Even though it looks white in the compact case, it blends in very well with my olive/tanned skin. No whitish residue. And it's done a terrific job at keeping the shine at bay. I do it once in the morning, and once again in the afternoon. I was sad to see it being discontinued on Amazon? (please tell me this is not the case!) so I went on Ebay and ordered a bunch of them to last me a while. If it comes back in stock, just buy it!

Came in loose and broken... But still a great product that smells Amazing.

I LOVE this powder. I’m very very pale and it seems to blend with my skin color without looking white like it actually is. It quickly replaced my previous daily use powder. I bought extras just so I wouldn’t run out. I hope they never quit making it. It is awesome and if you’re super super pale like me GET IT. You won’t regret it.UPDATE-Still totally love it and it’s all I use. It’s translucent so it will blend into almost every skin shade, light to dark.It truly is my absolute favorite and I’ve bought some for both my daughters bc they’re pale like me and they love it too.No complaints at all.

Maybe I am just way more oily than most of the reviewers on here but this powder was not long lasting for me at all.I am also more into Korean skincare and makeup and have been using Korean sebum control powders for a while now. When compared to my Korean powder, this Rimmel one is so-so.It made my skin and makeup look really good for like an hour but then I was already having to blot after that. So I'll probably keep this Rimmel powder as a back-up for when I need to restock my other powder. It's good but it's not the best in my opinion.

I was just looking for a powder that I could put on my eyelids after applying primer. But to my surprise, it works well on my face too. Since I am almost 68 and have the requisite wrinkles, I am very careful with powder. I needed some and was out so I ran a wispy brush around the compact and lightly dusted my face where there are no wrinkles and was very pleased with how sheer and finely milled it appeared. It far exceeded my expectations especially for the price!

I really like this translucent powder. I don't know what it is but I think it smells so good. lol it works well and I use it to blend out my bronzer with my blush. As well as matte the rest of my face. Works well and is so much cheaper than high end translucent powder and accomplishes literally the same result.

I love this stuff and it's really hard to find in stores where I live, so I ordered 2 online. One of them arrived fine, but the other was all smashed up - thankfully it was an easy refund process. I have pretty oily skin in my T-zone and I've tried a ton of different setting powders (cheap and expensive), but NONE work as well as this one. It's not entirely translucent, so it may lighten up your makeup just a tiny bit, but it's barely noticeable. I hope this never gets discontinued!
