What is the inside length of the 5 compartments? This is not shown in the pictures, and I need to know if my knives will fit..

I bought this in April of 2023 and the measurements are smaller than reported in the other answers so I'm very unhappy! The knives in my place settings are too long. The actual length of the compartments is about 9 3/16 - just a hair under 9 1/4 !!! And the width of each compartment for flatware is roughly 2 1/4 which is narrower than my previous organizer which makes it hard to store more than 8-10 of any piece - before I could have 2 stacks but my spoons are too wide for that unless 1 stack is upside down. I wish they'd make these compartments just a bit longer and wider but also the whole thing should be another 1 deeper and that would be helpful.

how wide is the tray fully extended?

Is glue used to hold it together? I see something white in the corners that looks like glue

I’m sure there is some glue because corners are attached via box joinery. The product I bought is very solid and well made and looks nice.
