It works
This media hood works swell. Snug fit where it needs to be. Good vision and fit.You definitely will want to attach a low pressure air supply to the port provided for positive pressure to prevent fogging of the lens

needs air pump
its good quality. it fogs up fast. it needs airs supply. use a strong mattress pump and 3/8 tube. i had a long review and a video and amazon shot it down for who knows what reason...

Good quality
Worked as it should. Hot inside, but what can you expect with sandblasting. I'd order this hood again as it held up well. I would recommend ordering replacement lenses along with this, as you'll need to replace them if will be sandblasting for awhile.

Really good quality
I almost ordered a cheaper hood but I'm glad I didn't. The hood is 1st rate. I expect it to last a long time.

Need air supply so the shield does not fog up
I used this for sand blasting it covers you very well but you will a external air supply to keep the shield from fogging up. It is well made and durable.

Fragile, Dangerous Non-Safety Glass Lens!
I bought this almost a year ago and finally had the opportunity to use it today. The elastic inside the mask around the neck works well to keep out abrasive (and air!) It has a very small connector on the back, presumably for supplied air in addition to the valve in front. For the price, it appears to be well-made.1) As you would expect, this is HOT! It was 90 degrees F today, and it was nearly unbearable after 15 minutes or so.2) The lens fogs up fairly quickly because there is not a lot of air exchange, but again, this must be expected in order to keep abrasive out.3) Most importantly, the glass lens is untempered and FRAGILE. I dropped the mask in my garage from waist high, and it broke into nasty long shards - see photos. If something smacked me in the face while wearing this, there is a strong possibility of a serious injury to my face and/or loss of my eye(s). I do not think this is an exaggeration.4) I see that they sell a plastic lens cover that can be purchased separately. I feel that this should be included, at a minimum, and the glass should be safety glass! Aren't there safety laws about something of this nature?!?!FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED!

Not if you wear glasses
Cannot wear this thing if you wear glasses. Also, after I took my glasses off and put this hood on the front pushes against my nose. I do not have a big head. I wear a normal size hat so it is the hood, it would fit a child fine. This is going back.
