I used this for making a raspberry icing for cookies. A quick few pulses in the food processor, then a more lengthy process of sifting the seeds out in a fine mesh sifter (WELL worth the time), provided a glorious dusting of raspberry color and flavor for icing. Last time we wanted a raspberry icing we used fresh raspberries, also delicious, but the frosting molded within days even in the refrigerator. And the moisture was nearly impossible to manage. This is the perfect solution.

Overall seemed to be a quality product that was packaged well. Sometimes with freeze dried raspberries they'll get crushed and you'll get mostly powder, but there were many whole raspberries in the package I received. The packaging was pretty robust. The sealed bag of raspberries was in another plastic sealed bag, I assume to prevent any contamination during shipping. So, the presentation of the product was good.So why is it only 4 stars? Well, the taste was just slightly off to me. I'm sure berries grown in different locals may have little differences in flavors, but these were a bit too tart compared to the other brands I've tried. I use them on cereals, ice cream, and drinks. In each application I used them, it tasted....not bad, but just not what I was expecting and not better. While again this seems like a quality product, it's not for me. But your palate may vary!

I used these to make homemade raspberry breakfast rolls. They turned out beautifully and delicious.
