I had a cable that lasted for 2 years until it broke. I bought this replacement, work for a few weeks however suddenly the microphone started to cut out and in and I had to move the cable in a right angle for it to work.

As I've said it's a good replacement wire, but the only thing that doesn't seem to be well built is the audio volume wheel. The wire seems to have a different feel than the stock wire. Got for an Astro A10 headset, and it seems to be working, so far.
