This is a BIG boy!
This is a big beefy knife. A little tricky to open even with bigger than average hands. I'm sure it'll get easier the more I open and close it. The blade is EXTREMELY sharp and sturdy. It feels well built and strong. You get a few extra screws and pieces as well. The satin blade looks really good and the handle pocket clip is really strong... Maybe a little too strong. Overall, an amazing budget banger. Get it!

Worth every penny.
This is my second petrified fish knife. The fit and finish is perfect per usual. It came razor sharp. The micarta is very grippy and the blade steel has held up well. I've had this knife for a couple months now and I've used it a lot. Just recently resharpened and the edge came back easily. Took about 5 mins on the worksharp precision adjust and maybe 2 mins stropping. It's exactly as shown and has very smooth deployment. Petrified Fish make the best budget friendly EDC knives in my opinion. I'm very happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend.

Pretty amazing knife
One of the best knives I’ve ever owned. The best is the Victor. Also from PF. Just like the blade better.

Great brand not a fan of this knife
Great brand, just not a fan of this knife as you need both hands to open it, the blade isn't bad by any means but I prefer to use 1 hand free.

Sleek, solid, big knife.
My new favorite knife. Big, tough, light, razor sharp.

One of my favorite knives!
This knife is not only fun to look at at but the front flip opening is a great fidget as well. The blade arrives razor sharp and the D2 is certainly sturdy. If this knife came in an upgraded s35vn I would purchase that immediately. I love the Beluga tanto . This knife has character! so much that I'm now going to purchase the Beluga in its clip point version. bottom line is this knife is just fun! with a really nice price point you can not go wrong. HIGHLY recommended.

An impressive knife, but a challenge to open
I love everything about this knife, both as a collectible and an everyday-carry . . . ergo's are great, factory sharpness is pretty good, and it's simple silhouette (closed) barely hints at it's impressive stance when the blade is deployed - IF you can deploy it. I'm no noob when it comes to pocket knives, and have practiced multiple finger-flicks over the years . . . but the flipper-tab on the butt of the blade is the only way to open this, and the tab is SO stubby and short for the blade length - that it forces your hand into a VERY weird position just to deploy the blade, if you can get enough grip on the tab to begin with. The amount of reach-over one has to achieve with your thumb, and the amount of friction required to press a very small flipper tab, means I literally have to throw my arm in a motion to gravity-assist the flick and deployment of the blade. And I have large hands, so 'reach' isn't otherwise an issue. It's still a cool piece, with a cool blade shape, and is still impressive . . . but due to the poor design in blade deployment, it confines this pocket knife to the drawer - only to be brought out occasionally to admire. Fix the deployment, and lengthen the flipper tab, and this thing would become WAY more versatile!

Great knife out of the box! The action is easy and the G10 scales are great.
