Both units work well and are very convenient with the enclosed magnetic pads that allow them to be placed on anything metal. Only thing I'd say might be improved is the loudness of the "time's up" signal. It's sort of on the quiet side so you really need to be nearby to hear it.

We use visual timers for everything to keep us all moving forward vs living in complete chaos. We’ve had a few over the years and they are not always very durable - maybe we use them too much! - but the price point for large ones we like is reasonable. This one was not on sale at the time of purchase it but no regrets. It’s less juvenile looking than others we’ve had that is a bonus. Get one!
