This set, if you can get it under $8 is a great deal. You get 3 minifigs, a magnifying glass, a box, an alligator, a snake, a frog, and several foliage pieces, in addition to building the boat.

Lego always great

My grandson just loved this. Great little touches like the lego crocodile - Santa delivered a winning gift!

Who knew it would be so hard to track down a lego set including an alligator. My son is reptile obsessed along with lego obsessed so this was such a great combo to get a set up for a crocodile safari. Super cute!

If you're not familiar with these "starter sets" (and I wasn't prior to purchase) -- the reason they're so inexpensive is because they're VERY small. I wanted it mostly for the female scientist person, but I'm glad I didn't rely on it for too many legos because there definitely aren't a lot. That said, the kit has some fun pieces, like the snake and the alligator. I also like that all of the heads and bodies are interchangeable (maybe lego pros know this, but I didn't). There's also one person with a face on each side of his head, so you get two different expressions which totally crack me up. It's a cute set for an okay price, but definitely an addition to other legos, not a stand-alone.

Christmas Present, Grandson loves Lego, he couldn't wait to put it together. He is 4.5 years and he was able to put it together by himself.

A quick and simple added edition to a wonderful Lego set. The jungle explorer set is one of the best I’ve seen. Many hours of fun where both parents and children can do together.

Item was as described, though was a little smaller than I thought it would be for some reason. Good price.
