These night time pads are soft, organic, natural cotton in a large size to prevent leaks. There are no plastics or synthetic products at all so you are getting a thin, cotton cover with a large cotton fill that provides maximum protection that is not irritating to the skin, does not chafe or expose the body to harmful chemicals used in regular pads and tampons, but does conform to your body and so protects better. My daughter and I only use Natracare and appreciate the organic cotton products. We also love the refreshing wipes that are resealable. I feel great knowing that I am not exposing myself to unnecessary chemicals when using Natracare products...well worth the price and much healthier than other products on the market.

Bought these to try to solve a problem with skin itching (not a yeast infection) associated with other brands. I thought before purchasing these that maybe the itching was due to wings on the other products, but when I tried the others without wings still had the itchies. Not sure whether it was the other products' adhesive or plastic that caused the issue, but it hasn't occurred using these which I've been doing for about 6 months. They're are a bit pricey compared with usual brands, but for comfort I am willing to pay the extra. The size I bought is indicated for Night use and comes 10 in a package. They are quite long and absorption is pretty good, but they are wingless which may cause some women a problem. The smaller variety which comes 12 in a package is shorter and narrower - almost like a panty liner in size, though a little thicker - and might not provide sufficient coverage on anything other than light days. Therefore I think it best to use the Night variety for daytimes too, but it could be too long for petite women..

I've tried many natural overnight pads by many different companies and these are the best ones I've found. Seventh Generation's (now owned by Unilever) overnight pad is not the same thickness from front to back and if it shifts while you are sleeping them you will have an accident. Plus there is no cotton cover at all; so the pad is hot against your skin. Natracare has an organic cotton cover on all their pads and panty liners. Organyc has an overnight pad but it bunches up and it is not very absorbent at all. So if you want a natural pad that is absorbent, has a cotton cover and doesn't bunch up than Natracare is really your best bet. I make sure to keep my cabinet stocked with Natracare because I like their products and I trust them with my health.

I love these pads for multiple reasons - they're all natural cotton (so there are no icky by-products like dioxin...ew), they're biodegradable, and they're comfortable! The only downside to these is that they seem to bunch up overnight which sometimes causes leaks, especially on my heavy days, but I'll take that over having to wear a Kotex any day.

I like that there are no petroleum products used in these liners. I have chemical sensitivity to petroleum products (for example, spray paints based on petroleum products and WD-40 give me asthma attacks) and so I stay away from the big brands like Kotex because they all contain mineral oil. However, after trying a different brand (Attn:Grace) and comparing the two, I have to say that Natracare has some issues that could be improved. The most annoying one is that these liners clump so badly when they are wet, and when they are wet and heavy they also don't stick well to the panties. Very annoying when using the restroom and the whole thing just falls onto the floor. The other brand also does a much better job from keeping moisture away from the skin, and it is also less expensive.

I have been using these pads for about two years, since I happened upon a video on Facebook detailing the kinds of chemicals they put into pads, like the brand I used my whole life, Always. I used to have 10/10 period pain levels. Like, check-me-in-the-hospital gnarly. Like, *gets period, faints on public transportation* bad. I never considered that the kind of pad I was using could be affecting the level of pain I was having on my period. But when you look into the chemicals they put in those things, and how they're sitting pressed against this sensitive part of your body for hours on end, it came into my scope of awareness that I needed to find something natural. God led me to this revelation; I give Him glory for it! Using natural pads has taken the pain level down from a 10 to a 7. I take Cramp Bark for cramp relief instead of Advil; does the same trick- minus chemicals! This particular brand rocks socks and absorbs well. The overnight pads are HUGE and are totally noticeable through my pants in the back, but hey, whatever. Only 5 days out of the month; no big deal! I am giving this review four stars because the shipping took an actual eternity. Like 3 weeks or something. But the price was 50% cheaper than what I buy at the local Lassen's store when I used to buy 'em there, so that's a plus! 5 out of 5 for the pads themselves :)
