Q: where is the expiration date

On the reverse side of the coffee packet, there is a barcode with numbers beneath, which I believe represents the expiry date. The first three numbers on my coffee are 028, which based on the Julian calendar, might mean the coffee expires in the year 2028. There are other numbers representing the month and day, but it is as if it is written in code! I have ordered this coffee several times, and each time it has been delicious with a lovely coffee fragrance and flavor, and very fresh.
