A good introduction into microdermabrasion
This microdermabrasion wand is a good introduction into DIY microdermabrasion and is probably a good sell for getting a professional treatment done. This small tool (the head is about the size of a 10p coin) did make me look at getting a more substantial tool. It definitely does the job but I think it's a matter of trial (and error) as to how many passes and what pressure to apply to each area of skin. That was my issue. First time I used I did one pass over each area of skin, light pressure, because I was worried about damaging my skin as I don't have heavy scarring from acne. It was okay, but didn't feel as though I'd done much the day after. Subsequently I've done x3 passes over each area of skin and am seeing skin on the tool, nothing to be concerned about, and I feel think is good for my relatively clear skin. I think this is a good tool to always have on hand, but it has made me want to look into getting an electric device. At the time I purchased it it was about £12, I've since seen it for just a little of £10, then £20 which is wild.
