Solid design and well made!
After being put through its paces over the summer months I can say this trowel is well built, cleans up well and has done a great job for me!

Well Made Hand Tool
One of my favorite and most useful hand tools. Extremely well made, holds up to my compacted clay soil. Has not bent or broken even removing large weeds and prying out big rocks.

Very nice! Solid!
Notably Good quality tool. Riveted together verses cheap spot welds. I’m glad I spent the extra money on this one.

The best tool for weeding, well-made, sturdy, excellent.
I often lay this down as I am working, it can be difficult to find and I placed a red electric tape around the handle. It is beautifully made but I wish it came with a bright marker on the handle to prevent it's loss. It is the best weeding tool I have to use.

Sturdy tool that feels great in hand, looks nice and has been used extensively for 6 years
I bought this spade and a few other hand tools from Barebones as a gift for my husband when we were getting married. He loves to garden and this spade is the one he goes to time and again. It has weathered better than I expected and the handle only seems to get smoother and nice with age. We store it in a dry shed over the winter and keep it clean when its not in active use. I liked this so much I have bought this tool a few times as gifts for gardener friends. Nice.

Quick, easy weed removal.
Great tool. Keep it sharp, and you've got a fantastic tool for quick removal of clumps of weeds in mulch. If you have an issue with vines, I'm not so sure this is the best choice, but I would certainly try it.

Love Barebone tools
We had one. My husband lost it. 🤣I bought another. We have a few other garden hand tools from them and find the quality is exceptional. We abuse them, and they still look nice. The square hand hoe we used to edge out along a concrete driveway to do metal edging to hold back a mulch bed, it still looks new. The first shovel dug out a rock & concrete filled window sill as the big shovel and e-tool couldn't access the nooks and crannies. It looked good at the end, with no damage. ( I think it was left in the wheel barrel only to be covered with brush). In the time I have had barebones tools, when the shovel got lost... I was cheap and bought Corona, fisker, and no name brand tools from box stores... those have all broken and cannot hold a candle to this shovels quality. So after two years I broken down and bought another one.If your on the fence, or sick of cheap shovels breaking... this guy is fabulous.

HIGHLY STYLISH AND UNIQUE
This garden toll is VERY nice. It is unique by way of its walnut handle and black metal . The materials are high quality and the trowel is heavy weight . The trowel is amply sized, which makes it great for all garden and planting jobs. It is quite unique and sets its self apart from your typical garden tool. It has great style and stands out . The only thing i wish were included in the design of this tool , is a nice thick leather hook strap for hanging storage of the tool. Given its high quality it would have been nice for the designer to include a leather cord instead of the cotton string for hanging! I cannot vouch for the sturdiness or durability of these tools but i can tell you , if you oder this trowel or the matching hand rake you will be quite pleased . They are quite atylish and unique!
