I add this to my watering once per week.It makes the stalk and stem of my plants extra strong and THICC. I no longer need support stakes when my plants go into flowering due to the extra rigidity of the stems and stalks. Also an unintended side effect of using silica is that it will help reduce the amount to fungus gnats in your soil due to silica being like glass shards to the gnats, which reduces ALOT of their population.I'd say by about 90%. There's always 2 or 3 but I haven't had HUGE outbreaks like I use to have in the past.Buy this stuff asap, best investment ever.

After using this product on my cannabis plants for the pass year, I came to realize that this product raises the PH of my RO water from 6 to 9 using the recommended dosage per gallon. At first this was really annoying after adding some nutrients from Botainicare GROW and CAL MAG(recommend dose) it would lower the ph to like 4.5. Way too low for my needs. I would then have to add ph-up to raise to 6 in veg and 5.5 in flower. This would start the ph swings in my reservoir high and low and start seeing issues in my plants because I got tired of having to readjust ph every day. I use the autopot system 3.9 gallon and use a 7 gallon reservoir. Image show at week 8 flower. Yellow leaves ph out of control, green leaf picture week 8 and still green ph under control. With that being said now I use the Silica as a ph up and the Botanicare GROW, Tea compost, and Hydroplex as ph down until my ph is where I want it to be at 6 in veg and 5.5 in flower. FYI now my ph does not move one decimal. I would recommend using Biotanicare nutrient line with this others may work but I have not tried them.

I use this on all of my variegated plants to keep the white shining white longer.

It helped with the plants magnesium deficiency

This stuff works good.. I just don't think this amount is worth it's price tag.
