Tastes kinda funny but plays music very well.
Really easy to setup Bluetooth and use. Just play 8bit versions of songs you like and it comes out very clear. It’s decently large and sturdy. It’s very beautiful at night and worth giving to family/friends or self enjoyment.

Awesome toy, great conversation piece
This unit is small and compact, but packs a punch. It can produce an arc length of up to 4 inches on high, and does play square wave music files through bluetooth from your phone. It's actually fun to watch and experiment with, despite how loud it can get. There are some accessories included for different output cofigurations and two neon bulbs. Customer service is great. Some observations: What happens when when you see lightning? You hear thunder - the discharge arcs on this device work the same way, it can get quite loud in normal (non-music mode) as it is a pulsed output and not continuous. Sorta like a string of firecrackers, you may want to consider earplugs. Tesla coils produce a good amount of electrical ozone, also known as "smog", which is a respiratory irritant and generally not good for you in large quantities. I recommend providing adequate ventilation when it's in operation. This unit will only play "square wave modulation" music, which is the same music that your old original 8-bit Nintendo game system produced back in the day. The link for this music in the instructions doesn't seem to work, contact the seller directly and she will send a .zip file. You can also find music files online, google "tesla coil music". And, there are music converters out there that convert midi files to square wave .wav files. Just remember that high notes or octaves produce longer arcs, low notes are smaller, and keep the melody as simple as possible for best results. (complex music sounds like static) Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings. You can touch the arcs in normal mode, but I do not recommend touching them directly or with a metal object in music mode as they are more intense, and may burn. All in all, very entertaining. Have fun!

Dose what it says, super loud though
It’s cool looking really loud though can’t really just turn it on and enjoy it in the background it’s like in your face big time

Great Father's Day Gift
My dad said he's been waiting 70 years to have his own Tesla coil. He was grinning ear-to-ear when he turned it on and it started sparking. The arc length is impressive and bright even with the lights on. We haven't tried the Blue-Tooth yet. Maybe one of the grandkids will make that happen. Would recommend.

Great toy and science experiment all in one
Picked this up for one of my teenage kids who really liked it. You can dial up the spark power and frequency to get some really impressive arcs given the size of the unit. Turning it into a Bluetooth speaker is very cool, just remember that you'll need some old 8-bit computer style music for it to sound good. Regular music is just going to sound like static with some patterns in it. Instead you'll want music like the old computer music that's mostly square wave (there's plenty on youtube if you're looking for something to play).
