will TSA confiscate the knife?

Yes, my knife was confiscated today. TSA told me it was due to the serated edge. The company should clarify that the knife isn’t TSA friendly.

Can the knife be left out in case of TSA?

Hi, Magware's spoon and fork are ok to take as carry on, but we advise against taking Magware's knife as it can sometimes be confiscated by TSA. :)

Will the paint anodized on the aluminum come off over uses? There could be hard / sharp things in foods such as bones.

The Magware are hard anodized, anodizing increases the thickness of the naturally occurring oxide layers on metal, enhancing the finished part's corrosion and wear resistance. There is no paint to speak of. Hard anodizing is the toughest coating you can apply to aluminum. It might wear slowly over time with much use, but as the aluminium used is food grade, it does not matter except maybe asthetically.
