This is the only orzo we buy. Great taste and easy to prepare.It is a wheat product and it contains gluten.

Excellent brand
Barilla is one of the best pastas out there. It is one of the best values for your money and is very consistent with each box. I have tried all the various types and sizes of Barilla pasta and all have the same quality. I use the smaller pastas for soup and I recommend this pasta.

Just what I expected
This is just what I expected. Plus its much cheaper buying in bulk then individual boxes at the grocery store. its got great flavor and texture. I keep the unopened boxes in the deep freeze (put a box in a ziplock in case something unforseen happens), and it will keep for ages until I get through it all.

The best of the domestic brands
Italian dried pasta is superior, including the Italian Barilla, De Cecco, and Trader Joe's, but this is the best of the domestically made pastas. I use at least ten of their shapes. Orzo is terrific for chilled summer dishes (think Feta and garden veggies) and for pesto.
