Fentimans Ginger Beer (6x4pack)

Love this product. Try to keep it on hand for indigestion, especially at bedtime. A few swallows settles any discomfort and I go right to sleep.

If you have read any of my reviews about food, then you will notice that I like to go on taste journeys. I have tried a total of 6 different brands of ginger beer now. I've tried each by itself, with lemonade (very summery and refreshing), and with bourbon. For my personal taste preferences, I want a ginger beer that stings my nose on the first sip and makes me want to cough. So knowing that, here are my thoughts: By itself: Fentiman's wasn't as strong with the ginger taste compared to Fever Tree or Maine Root, but it definitely had more ginger taste than Bundaberg, Reed's and Cocknbull. It's also a little sweeter to me than Fever Tree or Maine Root, but definitely not as sweet as Bundaberg. With lemonade: This is one of my favorite drinks because of the taste contrast between sour, sweet, and bitter. While Fentiman's is definitely enjoyable with lemonade, it made it sweeter to me and lacked the strong bite that I love from some other brands. With bourbon: Fentiman's was actually really enjoyable with bourbon. I find that sometimes the really bitter ginger beer that I enjoy so much doesn't pair as well with bourbon unless I add something to it like a splash of lemonade/lemon juice (I call them warm lemonades, and they are awesome). With Fentiman's being not as bitter, you can definitely enjoy this mixed by itself with bourbon. Overall with my rankings, I will give it a 4 out of 5.

Each bottle was individually bubble wrapped and safely delivered, it's always a concern to me when ordering liquids that something may break in shipping but that is not an issue here. As for the product itself, it was everything I hoped for in a ginger beer, heavy on the ginger and not overly sweet. Overall the price might be a bit rough for frequent purchasing but this may be my new favorite beverage.

This is my favorite Ginger Beer for making Moscow Mules. I've tried about 8 different Ginger Beers and this beats them all. Perfect carbonation and has the best deep taste. The bottle size is perfect to make a mule. Very refreshing and great value for the money.

I was skeptical of this because Merry Old England isn't known for food and drinks that have flavor or bite. This did nothing to change my mind. It has a weak ginger taste and no bite. It isn't ginger beer if it isn't biting the back of your throat. If it were marked as ginger ale, it would be a solid 4-star. At least it doesn't have artificial stuff and HFCS. That is why it is three stars, instead of two. It is better than most ginger beer made in the US, but the US isn't known for taste or quality. Its levels of quality and taste are even lower than those in the UK. Jamaica remains the king of ginger beer.

Product is always good. However, packaging was terrible. The four bottles were bunched together with no cushion between bottles inside little bags.

I love Fentimen's ginger beer but I can't find it in the stores anymore near me. Even Walmart says I have to order it. OK so I go to Amazon, they've got everything, right. The description is: Fentimans Ginger Beer - 6x4Pack. To me that says either 4 packs of 6 bottles or 6 packs of 4 bottles. I got just 4 bottles. Period. For $22.00!!!! Buyer beware. Fentimans BG12876

love the fentimans ginger beer, but the order came and there were only 4 bottles , not the 24 that I ordered , was given a refund , but am still out 20 bottles, never did get my ginger beer!
