Q: Will the kreg KMA2685 guide fit for a dewalt circular saw

Hello, There are a lot of circular saws out there. The things to look for when trying to determine if your saw will be compatible with the Rip-Cut is to make sure that it is not a worm drive saw, because they are not compatible. Make sure that the top front of the saw base has at least 1/2 inch of space or more across the width of the shoe or base so that the sled of the Rip-Cut can attach to the saw base. Make sure that the front of the base does not angle or curve upward any more than 1/2 inch. The last thing is to make sure that the width of saw base is wide enough so that both lock downs on the sled can make contact with the saw base. (5-1/2" in width or more)

I've been able to secure it to my rockler saw that's similar, but honestly I would not recommend it. Those screw holes rotate just enough to secure my plate, but the heft of the whole thing doesn't feel as secure and relatively kinda floppy, so i have it more permanently hooked up to my dewalt 7 1/2 inch saw. So all in all, kinda, but i would recommend a standard circular saw.

Hello, I took a look at your particular model of saw and I am sorry, but do not think that your saw will be compatible with the Rip-Cut. It appears that the saw base is to narrow to latch onto the sled properly. Thanks!

Q: Will this work with an old 7.25" porter cable frame saw model 743? i just want to make sure. i love my old saw, i'll keep it forever.

I haven't seen it tried on that particular saw before, but based on the pictures of it I believe it will work. If you have any troubles with it, I encourage you to call Kreg tech support at 800-447-8638.
