I got this stuff to try and get my Govee light strip that goes around the back of my TV to stay in place. Its own adhesive isn't strong at all and it keeps falling. Kind of hard for the lights to be in sync with the screen image when they fall. I was able to pretty easily cut this tape to size using standard office/household scissors. It's extremely sticky, which is the point of buying it!! You can't just rip it and stick it. That's scotch tape, not this stuff. Take your time and you'll be just fine. This tape is holding my light strip well and I am very pleased with it.

Great tap. It has a very strong adhesion

The first time I bought it, the backing was very easy to peel off and the tape was very very sticky, which was good. However the second time I bought it, it wasn't the same. I had bought the bigger size, I don't know if they changed the formula or something, but the tape wasn't as sticky as before and didn't stick to itself that well. Also, the backing was very difficult to peel off. I bought it again the same size as I did the first time and the backing was easy to peel off, but the tape still wasn't as sticky as when I first bought it. But, it's still overall sticky and works fine.

I got this to attach a few items around the house without having to drill holes in my walls or doors. I wanted to attach an outlet extender for the weird setup in my bathroom and get the plug off the counter. Cut and attached two pieces of this to the tile, removed the backing, and pressed the plug to it. Holds it nice and tight and have had zero issues with it. Also had a magnetic curtain rod that didn't hold very well to my back garage door. I didn't want to drill holes in it, so I applied a small square of this tape to each block of the rod base, put on the curtain, selected where I wanted it to go, and pressed it on. Again, no issues with it moving or falling off. Wasn't sure if it would do the job I needed for a cabinet I was putting together that didn't have predrilled holes for the back board. I decided to cut some small, thin strips and use it to hold the boards into place. I was surprised that even with the thickness the boards were able to lay flush with the rest of the cabinet and the tape helped hold everything in place so I could get a few screws put in to secure the boards properly. This tape has proved to be a real life saver for some of my projects around the house where I need something to be attached but don't want to create any more holes.
