Success!
Edit. It does work, it does stop the leak each time it is put in the system, but my leak is apparently in a place that cannot stand up to the pressures of the running pump system. I waited until the pool was at the recommended 70 degrees before making my final judgment on this product, but the results are always the same. I add the fix a leak, it stops the leak. I leave it to sit without circulating the pump for a week. I even plugged the jets and drained the return system to let the fix a lead dry. But each time I turn the pump system back on, the leak is back. I'm not faulting they product because I believe the leak is too big for this stuff to permanently fix. Old review: The Marlig Fix A Leak works! I have been suffering through a pool leak for years now. I had isolated the leak to the supply jets and bypassed them with an unsightly over the deck set of pipes avoiding the hassle and cost to do the repairs right, but I had resigned myself to trying to call a pool company out to fix it. Thankfully, they’re all too busy. While researching pool leaks, I came across a YouTube video about the Marlig Fix A Leak. I looked it up on Amazon and the reviews were better than I expected. I had been facing three to four hundred dollars just to diagnose the leak and a bottle of this stuff only cost $30 so I figured there wasn’t any harm in trying it. My one reservation is that the pool is still quite a bit colder than 70 degrees right not. I wrote the manufacturer who promptly replied that while 70 degrees and warmer was optimum, the Fix A Leak should still work, just slower. So I gave it a try adding a 32 ounce bottle to my 12,000 gallon in ground fiberglass pool. I started the pumping and still lost 4” of water elevation in the first 18 hours of operation. I was thinking that the water was too cold, but I recirculated the build up of a gray matter at the bottom of the pool and refilled it. The next day, I was surprised to see the water up still. The next morning I was even more delighted to see the water still at the same level more than 12 hours later. And now after more than a full 24 hours, the water level is still the same. Yes, it went from loosing 4+ inches a day to 0 inches. All I can say is thanks for inventing this!

THIS STUFF WORKS...just follow the instructions!
If there is anyone out there who is skeptical of whether or not this product works, let me tell you my story: I have a 12,000 gallon above ground pool here is FLA. We get a good amount of pool water evaporation due to the sun and heat, but recently,I noticed a disconcerting, almost daily drop in the water levels several weeks ago tht based on my knowledge of my pool, was not normal. I am on a very tight budget and I did not want to go through a major plumbing dig out since the pool was only recently totally renovated. I read all the reviews of this and other similar products, but the history and acknodledged performance of this product seemed to say this was the one to at least try. Thank goodness I did. I bought the two bottle version, followed the instructions to a "T" and crossed my fingers. After the recommended wait time once the product was introduced to the suction plumbing and drains,I watched carefully for any further drop in the pool water level. To my great surprise.....it was apparent that the leaking stopped....not just slowed, but STOPPED! I have now been monitoring the levels since I started (about 2 weeks now) and I swear, I think the water level actually ROSE! So far, I have noticed ZERO water level drop. I did what was recommended as far as bottom sweeping any product that settled there to allow it to be picked up by my skimmer (this takes several days to disappear...be patient) and recirculate through the pipes. Each time there was less and less visaible product on the bottom and believe will all will be gone soon so I can clean my pleated filter). So...bottom line is FOR MY POOL, this was a near miracle cure. I will keep up a regimine on a regular bais...perhaps six months....to assure that the leak remains "clotted". Problem solved.

Works for small leaks
This worked for about 6 months on my pool leak (in the pipe that goes from intake to pump). Then crapped out. Used two bottles in in-ground hot tub and it never worked. Assume that this will work (or buy time) for small leaks - but if you have serious issues not gonna happen.
