I love the subtle shiny look of this marble case. It can hold a good amount of jewelry or pins, whatever you are looking to store. You will love this, and it is a perfect git. It is actually pretty heavy, which makes it very sturdy. the marble may not match other marble things, but you would assume that knowing that all marbles vary. Nice marble and I use it for my cotton balls. Bought it with the taller marble container that I use for my cotton rounds. Very happy with both and they make a nice set.
