Great product! Power has gone out a few times and the audible alarm and text/emails worked great. I would suggest having a battery backup on your modem so you have internet access to receive your alerts. Great piece of mind!

A very inexpnesive and reliable method to monitor for power on any circuit. For me, it is to tell me if I have lost power on a freezer, protecting the thousands of dollars of food stored in there. I have experienced where a loss of a circuit breaker in the past caused a full loss of all items within. This item has done exactly what I needed: Monitor and alert when power is lost. If I lose power, I get an audible tone in the garage indicating the loss, but far more importantly, I get a text message and email that says "Power lost to <freezer> at XX:XX am/pm". I can take immediate action to ensure I have alternate power or provide a way to move the freezer items to avoid spoil. What more can you want. Has saved me once already. I may get for one other circuit as well as I trust this to work. It is simple, small, and seems to have good battery life. It does not say in description what it says in the packaging in which you get 300 text messages before you run out. That may be a concern for some, but I do not plan on losing power that often. It does not affect email service, thought. Well worth it. Do understand that if you lose power to entire house, it may not get message sent before your internet router loses power, so understand that limitation. For me, I have the router on a battery backup so it will send the signal regardless. Highly recommended.

This connects to your wifi, if the power goes down it sends you an email. It works because my wifi is on an uninterruptible power supply so my wifi stays alive if the power goes off.
