No, mine were too stiff to be opened with a flick of the wrist

We only ordered 3 packs and received 30 fans. Each pack had 10 fans

Q: Can you use sharpies on these fans without ripping the paper?

Not sure. A friend had asked me to order these for their sons wedding. I think since its paper the Sharpie would bleed thru.

Possibly. The fans are paper and the wood is kind of like popsicle sticks. Nothing fancy. I used them as favors for guests at a beachside event in case they needed to cool down a little. Perfect size and price.
