I purchased this ring-light for a YouTube video project. The price was right what I wanted to spend and the set-up looked to be of good quality. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find it well packed and of much better design and construction than it appeared on the Amazon site.I assembled it and breezed through the brief “quick start” instructions and had it ready to use in about 20 minutes. There is a downloadable Q code user’s manual, however, I found it wasn’t needed. I am familiar with studio lighting and portrait photography, so it was VERY intuitive to use. The controls are simple to understand and use. The remotes for light adjustment and Bluetooth shutter controls are simple to set up. One thing I found puzzling was the light control did not come with batteries (?) 2 AAA. The Bluetooth remote did…. Not a big deal but there it is.This comes with a multiple camera set-up options. I tried it with an old camcorder, a full-sized DSLR and my smart phone. The mounts were all solid and handled the weight of the video cam and the DSLR with NO problem.I have lightboxes with continuous lighting but they get HOT and I wanted light that was more consistent with today’s internet look. This ring-light delivers. I am very pleased with my initial results.I do have 2 negative thoughts, and they are VERY small thoughts. 1) The shoulder strap was not sewn on 1 end and torn on the other, it was a throw-away and 2) Storage for the Tripod, it does not fit easily in the bag provided and does not have a bag of its’ own. I noticed that if put it in the bag with the light, it could damage the light. As simple fix would be two pieces of Velcro sewn on the bottom of the bag and the tripod would strap on. Like I said, Minor complaints. Maybe the seller could pass those thoughts back to the manufacturer.Advice: If you’re not familiar with color temps, read up or watch a couple of YouTube videos. You’ll thank me later.Bottom-line: This is a fine piece of equipment, well worth the price! You won’t regret it.

I returned it as it was too large and complicated a setup for my needs. I only needed on simple holder for my camera plus it uses a large floor tripod and I wanted something more for my desk. FYI. I rated this lower but the company has contacted me to insure I was happy - I explained I already got a refund but Thank you.

I am writing to let all know that customer service matters as much as product quality. A few days ago I received my brand new ring light and accidentally broke the tripod leg because I never had one before and skipped the screw loosening step, which I now know is very important before bringing the legs down. The leg snapped and rendered the tripod inoperable right from the beginning. I was so angry with myself! I emailed Eoto and told them I broke the brand new tripod and within an hour of my email, Kevin in customer service responded and was eager to help me. He went above and beyond by sending out a replacement, which he says will be here in 2-3 days. I am very impressed. I will update in a few days, but I am loving the response from this company so far. Thank you Kevin at Eoto, you are very professional and I appreciate your good will.*****UPDATE*****Kevin again impressed my socks off! He sent me an entirely brand new Ringlight setup! I am amazed at the customer service from this company! This is how customer service used to be when I was younger back in the day when people cared about their customers. I will never forget how Eoto went out of their way for me, especially Kevin. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this company. By the way, the light is fantastic and everything works just as promised. I am impressed. LOVE!!!!!

Solid ring light, great size, extremely bright, lots of temperature and brightness settings, 2 USB ports for charging your devices while you record, and a remote!The touch panel on the front is extremely handy for making quick adjustments while you shoot. The stand has a very wide base which is great for keeping the thing from falling over. It gets very tall, I’m 6’2” and don’t have to keep it fully extended when I’m standing! The remote works very well, there is a wide range of color temperatures, it can accommodate a moderately heavy camera (I used a Sony A7III with no issues), or a camera and two phones, or 3 phones, or 2 cameras and one phone, use your imagination. The light stayed cool even after about 45 minutes of use. It’s very easy to setup and it’s sturdy, includes a soft carry bag, lots of mount options, and it’ll definitely take your TikToks up a notch!
