Used it to cover my garden hose connections located mid-reel of a wall-mounted spool. For aesthetic purposes, it worked great. I’ve read some reviews about it not shrinking well or being too big. It was a tight fit over my garden hose (if that helps anyone visualize the size limitations). Used an old basic Wagner heat gun at high-temp w/ a cheap shrink wrap attachment & it cinched up tightly fairly quickly (I didn’t time it, but it felt like seconds) & without burning the rubber. Tubing feels heavy duty. For my purpose the cost & quality exceeded my expectations. No — I did not get compensated for this review, although I’m open to it.

This was a size I needed to work both to seal and relieve stress on an heavy extension cord repair. Worked perfectly to install a new female end. Shrinkage was as described but next time I might select a 3 to 1 version of the material. I love a learning curve!

This is a heavy-duty rubber ramp to help wheelchairs and dollies navigate changes in floor height. They can be shaped with difficulty because they are so very heavily built, but in the end that is a good thing because they last.

the 40mm (1.5") size i received was 2.5" flat. luckily it shrunk enough for the job but not really sure how these are measured or if mine was mislabeled.

I bought these to cover the weather worn wooden handles of my wheelbarrow. They fit perfectly. Before I got out the heat gun I got distracted, but the wheelbarrow was in direct sun and when I came back to finish the project a couple weeks later...the shrink had happened. The handles are very comfortable to hold now.

Used to patch up a small hole in a high-temp manifold, combined with an epoxy it worked great!

I found this heat shrink to perform well. I used low setting on heat gun and had no problem. I think a hair dryer would probably do it. Product took the form of what it was shrunk around. Was used to secure a 10watt LED to the end of a glass rod. Did the work inside a glass box with electronics inside, required heat did not damage glass or electronics. Had to apply the head directly to the LED (well, under the heat shrink) and all is well. Shrunk a section without anything inside as a test before using and the resulting tube was uniform and smooth.

Good quality, but this has white writing down the middle which wasn't clear before I bought it and didn't work for my application. Ended up buying a different brand that worked better.
