Rest Right 100% Cotton Zippered Pillow Protectors, Standard/Queen, 2 Pack

I ordered these to add some washable protection to a set of standard sized but relatively fluffy down pillows. I had been afraid the covers might be tight on those pillows, but they're not; they fit perfectly. The material seems sturdy, and the zipper is adequate given that it will be inside a pillow case. The fabric is exactly what I expected from 100% cotton, feels good, and washed very well. Overall I have no complaints. For the price and quality, I would happily order another set if needed.

I was in a dilemma: I had just bought down pillows on clearance. The fluffy lift was great, but the poking quills - not so much! Enter these pillow protectors! I slipped them over the pillows (a great fit) and then put my pillowcases on top. Since then, it's been smooth sailing with nary a poke from any stray feathers! I am glad that I was able to keep my pillows just by using these. Nice quality, good price, and effective too - highly recommended!

I am very pleased with these pillow protectors. They not only fit well, but they have a pleasant feel to them. They feel like a high quality product that is soft and doesn't make any noise when rolling around on your pillow, which is very important to my son! And they're at a great, competitive price. I will definitely continue to use and purchase these in the future, and highly recommend!

These are really basic, no-frills pillow protectors. A decent weight and the zippers are a good size. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they're a little small. I have standard down pillows and use other standard pillow cases on them and they fit with a little room for movement. When I put my pillows in these cases I have to stuff them in and when zipped they are stiff, non-malleable pillows. They're better suited to be used for my small contour pillow.

I may have had luck of the draw, but when I opened the package to this product, it reeked like fish bait. Super nasty smell to it. Ever been ocean fishing? Yep, THAT smell. What is strange is that the inside packaging did not hold on or permeate this horrendous smell. The protectors themselves had the odor all of them. One of the protectors had a stronger odor than the other one did. Was someone eating a fishy lunch, went to SeaWorld, or went fishing while making them? I don't know. I went nuts afterwards because it took two separate trips to the sink to get the smell residual off my hands. I threw them in the wash, tumble dried on low heat with a lavender dryer sheet, and the smell disappeared completely. If that smell didn't disappear after that washing, it would've been sent back. They did fit nicely over the new pillows and the zippers were in good working order. The product does what is intended, but the fish odor knocked off the product from being a five-star rating.

Not much to say about these. It zippers up, its thin, it's cotton (not that polyprop that crinkles when you lay on it.) The price is amazing - I paid 11$ on Amazon for a pack of two. I have overstuffed standard feather pillows (for side sleeping) and these fit perfectly. They could be used as pillow covers if you want a super-minimal look. When closed, there's a tiny gap where the zipper meets the end. Seems unavoidable since pillows are puffy, but if you're need it to seal tight because of severe allergies, these don't. I have mild allergies and these are doing a great job for me. Would re-purchase. They wash well too. Hope this review was helpful.

I bought a pair of these pillow covers a couple years ago and they were pretty good, so I recently decided to get another set while they were still available. I was already too late, as these newer ones (purchased late 2016) are complete junk. Not only is the fabric much, much thinner but the zippers in both new pillowcases fell to pieces the first time I put them in the washing machine. I used a normal wash cycle, which the older pair have survived any number of times by now. When I say that the zippers fell to pieces, I mean that the pull-tab or handle came off of both (and disappeared) and also that the part which slides back and forth fell into two separate pieces. Considering that these parts are made of metal, they are extremely poor quality.

These pillow covers fit perfectly on our large queen sized pillows. They are easy to remove and put on, and the material is comfortable underneath a pillow cover. I always zip the zippers when I wash them, and insert the covered pillow in the pillowcase zipper side in. They are holding up well and seem to be great quality for the price.
