A very good quality bread knife
This knife feels good in one's hand, and it cuts even a big, fresh, crusty sourdough loaf with ease. It is plenty sharp and made to last. I felt it was an excellent value.

Fabulous, reliable bread knife
We love this knife. Henkel makes handsome cutlery. Sure enough, this serrated knife is well crafted, balanced, just the right heft, and very sharp. It has served us well and is our go-to bread knife.

Great Blade, But..
Where I circled in the photo, the bottom of the blade is very sharp and you have to be very careful grabbing the handle. I'm not going to return, because it's a nice thin bread cutting blade with a nice weight to it; and works well on anything I slice. We ground down that piece to blunt it and that did the trick.

Bread Knife Excellence - A Worthy Addition
Choosing this knife from the list turned out to be a great decision. I already have a knife set, but I needed a larger bread knife for slicing loaves. This one works exceptionally well, effortlessly slicing through bread to create perfect, uniform slices without any drag or squashing. After use, a quick wipe and back into the knife holder it goes.While I've heard conflicting advice about dishwashers dulling knives, I'm not taking any chances with this wonderfully sharp knife. Whether or not you buy into that, if you're seeking a highly functional bread knife at a reasonable price, this one is definitely worth considering in my opinion.
