Chlorophyll MAXX - Liquid Chlorophyll

Why pay more at a whole foods store? ;-)

This has a very strong mint taste, even when diluted with water. It doesn't bother me because I like mint. It takes a few days to a week to really notice improvement in focus and energy. Its not like *BAM* burst of energy or enlightenment, but more of a subtle, gradual "hey i was more productive today" type of thing. Anything with natural mint is going to aid in digestion because that is something that mint helps with, but this does help keep things regularly scheduled. It will kind of freak you out if you aren't expecting the deep emerald green color of this product. It also stays green when mixed with water, just not as dark.

I got this thinking it would help with coffee-breath (I like drinking coffee and tea), but it has kind of a weird flavor that I don’t like very much, so I’m kind of reluctant to use it. I think it probably did help my breath, but it’s not helping when I don’t use it!

Chlorophyll is what gives plants their green color. For us humans, it’s said to detox the body, strengthen the immune system, boosts energy, and more. While it’s best to get chlorophyll from green vegetables directly, if you know you are not eating enough vegetables, this liquid chlorophyll can be a convenient supplement to your diet. One serving is 15 drops, and the 2 oz. bottle will give you 120 servings. This particular liquid chlorophyll has a bluish-green color, different from the dark green, almost black color I’ve seen from other liquid chlorophyll before. It does have the same peppermint-like smell and taste. I add it to my protein shake, and because of the other ingredients in the shake (fruits, vegetables, etc.), I can’t taste the chlorophyll at all, which is a good thing. I would recommend this supplement for people who don’t eat enough vegetables.

So I got this instead of the one I normally get with MCT oil. Just opened this it was SUPER dusty like it had been sitting for a while and the chlorophyll is only 50mg instead of the 100mg like the other brand. Also the color is a cloudy light pale green. Doesn’t look good will not order again. And it’s more expensive then others which are $10. Also it expires in Aug in a couple weeks….

This stuff is great! Works very well and all natural! I originally got it because I use chlorophyll for anemia (chlorophyll is plant blood - it replenishes YOUR blood!) It's also a natural deodorizer! I've always gotten unflavored chlorophyll and drank it in orange juice (it's REALLY sweet). I noticed that there was mint flavored and wondered why anyone would want to drink it that way. Well as a breath spray, it makes complete sense! The bottle says to use 3 sprays but it's very strong so I only use one. My 17 year old son wants to take my bottle from me cause he likes it so much! (He's also very much into health and natural stuff (and he's vegan)) It's a little pricey but that's what you'd pay in a health food store - trust me.

This is a neat way to treat coffee breath. It doesn't spray so much as squirt but it does the job. A simple spray is all it takes to make a fresh mouth. I like it.

I was happy to see that this product is made in the USA. It has a pleasant mint taste and no weird aftertaste. The directions say to mix it with water or your favorite beverage. I used it just on it's own so I could get a good idea of how it tastes with nothing to dilute it. The expiration date is only 5 months out, which makes me wonder when this was manufactured. If you take it daily, you'll get through the bottle well before that expiration, but I felt it was a fairly short span, which was a bit disappointing.
