Love these shakers. You can adjust how much salt or pepper you want and they are very attractive. Best of all NO PLASTIC.

They look excellent, great quality for the price. Only reason for the4 star was , even thought the holes look a good size very little salt comes through. not sure why but will look further into it. I would still recommend the set .

It has three pour settings; one with 5 small holes; one with 3 larger holes; and one large hole, useful for baking/cooking when measuring. It also has a closed option when twisting the lid. To the brim, it holds about 150 grams of salt, or about 25 teaspoons. It is easy to hold and use and looks nice. One small negative, when opening to refill, it will have a small amount of salt around the rim, as the plastic top does not provide a perfect seal against the glass container, though it does not leak salt during usage.I am only using one for salt. I have not used it for pepper as I have a very good pepper mill. I bought this one, since my wife liked the style and the capacity. Overall it works well, looks nice, and is a good value.

I had similar salt and pepper shakers like this in stainless steel years ago and the lid broke. Needed another set. We loved how the others worked but I wanted a fun new color. We like these because you pick how much seasoning you want, a lot, medium or a little. and ---as the person who has to fill them---I appreciate how you can see how much is in them and when the contents are getting low. That in my opinion is the best feature. And at a glance you know which is which before you pour. How great is that! no putting salt on something you wanted pepper on and vice versa. For the price you can't go wrong! As I said, our last set lasted years and we are hard on ours. We lived on a lake and had lots of guest and parties--I am surprised no one broke them sooner. We've moved, but still have lots of guest. Hoping for long life with this pretty set.

Perfect salt and pepper shakers. These will go with any kitchen. I keep them by my stove/on the counter. They are glass with stainless steel looking "cover". I did slightly crack one soon after getting them, but it was definitely my fault, nothing to do with the quality of these. It still works perfect fine, just a hairline crack. I like that you can easily adjust how much salt/pepper you want to come out. You could probably use these for other spices if you really wanted to since you can see what's in them.

Attractive - sturdy. Really like that the tops have options - small, coarse, pour, and closed.
