I have other Klein tools and have always liked them This device is no exception. It was easy to use until I was measuring distances approaching its maximum range and then it was fussy to use but certainly not impossible. I checked some initial measurements with a tape measure and though they were very close I trusted this laser more. The case is lighter duty than I expected from Klein and I am glad that I purchased a case to protect it.For the price, its capability is quite impressive. It is a valuable and accurate tool.

Another quality product from Klein. This thing is really cool. Great value for the money. The screen is bright and not confusing. It has more features than I'll use, but it's been fun playing around with them all. I'm impressed. Maybe now I'll stop getting tape measure sliced from the retraction!

Worked great with ⅛inch accuracy out to 30+ feet...Until it stopped turning on. Do not store or use in cold weather(northern states)

I'm going to find klein you can never go wrong. The accuracy is great. It is designed perfectly to fit in your hand very easy to use. Very readable.The laser is bright enough to see with no problem.And the functionality of it is great. Does as it is intended to do

This is a nice simple tool, adjustable to measure from either the front or the back of the device, and with a bright enough display and laser to use even in bright situations (outdoors in full sunlight can still be a bit of a glare challenge!) Since there's only one button it's important to read the manual to see how to adjust and control it - I've not doubt if it's a "daily driver" that would become second nature, but if you only use occasionally you might want to keep those instructions handy.Since it's fairly small I find the biggest challenge to accuracy is holding it steady and making sure you're measuring straight (it's easy to get yourself at a bit of an angle which will skew the measurements). If you're going to be making cabinets or something with a high degree of precision I wouldn't rely on this - but if you're trying to estimate materials, quickly map out a space, etc. this is a great and quick tool for that.
