General Pencil 957ABP Compressed Charcoal Sticks 4/Pkg-Black - Soft Assorted

High quality and very black upon paper. I love how compressed it is. The best charcoal I’ve come across so far. Also it’s on timereference to my friend and I also buy again for this Seller because yes very good product on low price

I purchased this for a class, and it’s a lot easier to use than the other charcoal I had. I definitely recommend.

Works as expected.

The product itself is exactly as advertised, compressed charcoal goes down in a nice solid black (go vine/willow if you want more shades). The sticks do tend to arrive with at least one snapped. But there could be more care take for shipping them (though unknown at what point they take damage).

Works beautifully and is the same brand sold by dick blick (where universities get their supplies).The eyes are done in conte crayon. The rest is compressed charcoal in black and white.In college I used chalk and white conte crayon for the white. This was my first time trying white compressed charcoal. I think I prefer the white conte crayon which is more intense (use less).

usually i tend to gravitate towards more expensive charcoals, but this one tastes just like the high end stuff!

I finally gave these a go and, the quality is So So. It's not really that soft and doesn't glide that smoothly kinda of scratchy if you know what I mean. am going to return if I can and try a different brand.
