I’m a 60 year old guy and I have noticed over the years my handwriting has deteriorated. I noticed this when writing a birthday card and though my once ‘clean’ handwriting was now a total mess. I also have a very mild hand tremor effecting small hand movements. I turned to this book because of the other positive reviews. I have been following the instructions in the book and although I have some way to go to get to the standard I would like, I can see improvements.

My daughter and I are doing this alongside each other which is fun.

Far too fancy - I was expecting straightforward writing practice without all the fancy twirls. Nothing suited me from the free worksheets. all in all - it seemed more like caligraphy to me.

What is the point of a handwriting workbook on such poor quality paper that ink bleeds through several pages at once ? Might be ok if you want to use a biro ….. waste of money

Ink featheres with three fountain pens I have tried. Bleeding to the next page. Not usable at all.

I bought it to relearn the writing system. Also useful for adult learning.

Anyone looking to relearn, sharpen skills, or even learn for the first time. Good tool to practice cursive with common phrases and the alphabet & numbers. Does have a page at the back to scan a code to print additional pages

筆記体の基礎から学びたい、中学生から大人におすすめです。 この本を一通りこなして、まだゆっくりで完璧ではありませんが、筆記体で文章を書けるようになりました。 内容は、 単純な線の練習→アルファベット→アルファベットを繋げる練習→単語→短文 と進んでいきます。 この本の素晴らしい点は、筆記体独特の書き方の説明がちゃんとある点です。 特に勉強になったのは、文字を繋げるストロークの書き方です。 私が1冊目に買った国内の入門書では、肝心なこの説明が一切ありませんでした。 分量はかなりあります。 休みの日を使って2日間かかりました。 惜しい点は、文章のパートが少ない点です。

I’ve decided to try to become ambidextrous. I’ve always written with my right hand, and enjoyed cursive writing. That dates me! But I need to keep my brain busy and this seems a way to engage both brain and fine motor skills. I remember workbooks from grade 2 in Nova Scotia, and I remember, too, how relaxing the constant repetition of a shape could be. This book is a great deal more complex than my original workbooks, but it’s designed for adults and engages the brain in all sorts of useful ways. I can recommend it highly.
