I loved the look of this puzzle for my childrens collection.

Wonderfully made and a bit challenging--the kids in my classroom gravitated towards this daily, only one child could complete without assistance (4 yr old) but it was wonderful watching her peers ask her to assist them and they worked together on it.

I use this puzzle for homeschooling using Montessori principles. I printed out nomenclature cards to assist in the lesson. My daughter has just turned 4 and is now showing interest in this puzzle. It teaches pincer grasp because of the small knobs 👍🏼, it teaches the parts of a tree 👍🏼, and dimensions as each piece of the leaves and branches vary in size. Note that the roots and leaves are different color green ❤️. There are lots of extension lessons you can probably create using this as a base. I’m very happy with this purchase.

The other puzzles in this series are a little more intuitive for the kiddo to figure out. This one has some odd branches that go against the truck and make it a little harder for a 2 year old to put together. For an older kid this might be the perfect challenge but it’s our least favorite one. We have the flower, leaf, frog and fish.

Love this puzzle!My 2 year old plays with it almost daily. Its beautiful, well-made, and a good challenge for her.

I love to use these puzzles in the classroom first as a puzzle, then as a tracing activity where students compose the puzzle on a piece of paper.
