What is the termination style for attaching wires?

I wouldn't solder the connection. Solder migrates and loosens. You're dealing with potentially a lot of current, 50A, and your soldered connections will heat up (I^2R losses) due to the voltage drop across the connection. For example, if you're running 50A and the contact resistance at the joint is 0.200 Ohms, then the power in the connection is W = 50^2*0.200 = 2500*0.200 = 500 watts at that one soldered connection. A good crimp is the best method, as it squeezes the individual wires and the crimp shell together and forms an air-tight bond that doesn't have the same issues as a soldered connection. It will also have a lower losses due to the lower voltage drop. For example, if your crimped connection is now 0.010 Ohms, then W = 50^2*0.010 = 2500*0.010 = 25 watts at the crimp connection. This also improves the efficiency of the charge, as more energy is used to charge the batteries than lost in heat. So, batteries will charge a little faster and cost you loss money. Solder does not form a good mechanical connection, never rely on it alone. If you are so bent on soldering, then solder after crimping, but it won't change the contact resistance for a good crimp.

Is there a standard junction box size/name that these will mount in?

This plug separates into 2 pieces for wiring. the back portion acts as your junction box, then the wall or whatever you are placing it in goes in the middle, finally the plug is screwed back onto the outside. Depending on how thick of a wall you are placing in the middle, you will need to get longer screws to reconnect the outside.

What gauge wire will this accept for l1, l2/n and pe (earth ground)? will the connectors accept ul 4awg 600v 105c?

My reference materials indicates that the 50A version L1/L2 fits 8AWG, E fits 10AWG

Where do the 2 dc connogo to!

J1772 is an AC connector. Chademo and ccs are dc fast charge connectors. J1772 goes to an onboard charger that converts the AC to DC.
