Q: How do you Clean the glass?

Thanks for your interest in our product. Kindly wash the fire glass of them (Glass wind guard) with simple dish soap, or make your own solution of distilled water and vinegar. You can do this in your sink or outside with a hose. Rinse fire glass thoroughly with water. Hope this could help you with your concerns.

It happens and can be caused by a few different reasons . But the bottom line cause is that there is not air mixing with the propane. A solution is to add an LP gas air mixer to your fire table. These are typically part of any grill, but not fire tables because more air, bluer and hotter the flame... that's why they're on your grill. Fire tables look better with a colorful flame... but that color produces soot, which you're noticing now with wind screen. Try adjusting your lava rocks or glass beads to cover more of the burner, try turning down the flame, or just clean the glass wind screen with vinegar & water when it gets bad.
