A review mentioned that this guitar is smaller than Blackstar’s other Carry-on travel guitars? Is this true and if not, why is this version cheaper?

These versions of the Carry-on guitar are exactly the same size and scale length as our other Carry-on travel guitars. The difference in cost is to do with the specification of the guitars. The Carry-on Mini guitar has a bolt-on neck, poplar body and maple neck. It also features a humbucker pickup without a coil-split function.

Is this a genuine blackstar product? I cannot find mention of this model on the blackstar website or any named blackstar dealers

Yes, it does appear to be a limited stocked product, likely an amazon exclusive but it is a real blackstar.
