Great, reusable and entertaining at home or on car/plane trips
We’re fans of these books! When you loose the brush or they no longer work you can use a regular paint brush (bulk pack for kids) and a bowl of water like you would with water color. Don’t spray with spray bottle - although it looks awesome instantaneously…it warps the cardboard pages

Great for dr. appointments, car rides, church, or any time you need some quiet.
We actually bought some of these at a store, and then came on here to get more. The orginals are bit beat up, but still work. Here is our experience. If you have a two or three year old, they will use to much water and the pages will warp. Either keep a paper towel near by and dry the excess off (still lets the picture be seen) or except the fact that these are pretty cheap and it's okay. We flay the pages out and lay them on their sides to dry, and honestly they are so fantastic for busy minds. So much better than crayons and paper or sticker books. Just less mess over all and the pens use so little water, that the kids really can't go wrong.

A Lifesaver for Travel and Dining Out!
I bought the Melissa & Doug Water Wow! Reusable Water-Reveal Activity Pad 2-Pack to keep my toddler entertained during travel and meals out—and it’s been a total win! She absolutely loves “painting” the pages again and again. Even though she doesn’t always finish each page completely, it keeps her happily occupied long enough for us parents to enjoy a moment of peace… lol. It’s mess-free, reusable, and perfect for on-the-go fun. I’ll definitely be buying more variations in the future. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a simple, engaging activity for their little one!

Mess Free Entertainment for Ages 2-5
I hesitated buying these despite raving reviews from several friends because a 2 year old coloring with water sounded like a mess. Finally purchased to use as an Easter basket treat and so glad I did. I keep one in my purse for restaurant/waiting room/Church entertainment. You just fill the little pen up with a small amount of water and squeeze the tip to get it going. There are a handful of thick pages in each book that your child just has to drag the wet brush across to get the colors to show up. It is great for younger kids who want to color because they get to see the different colors all show up perfectly in the lines despite not being old enough to manage this on their own yet. The five year old we were with the other day also enjoyed it, so I think it would work for any age. After the colors dry (long enough for the child to enjoy the pretty picture but not so long you can't pull it out an hour or two later), they can do it again. A really great, mess free, instant gratification product for busy little minds!

Great easy toy, no mess
Seriously these are the best! We have two in our car for car rides for our three and one year old and they both love to "paint" with these. They dont take up a lot of space in the car and are a great alternative to movies or video games, or electronic toys in the car. Super simple and cheap and kids can watch their art come to life without the mess! There is really no mess, you only need a little water to get the "paint" to show up on the picture. They dry fairly well and can be reused multiple times. They do, over time, tend to start falling apart, but that is after a lot of use and reuse. They are also great gifts too, we have gifted a couple of these to our friends' kids and their kids love it too.

Mess-free creativity that keeps kids engaged!
Mess-free drawing books that actually hold their attention? Sign me up! I absolutely love these water reveal pads. The illustrations are bright and fun, and I like that it’s not just colors that appear — some hidden details only show up once the water hits them, which makes it extra exciting for my boys. They’re completely reusable, which is a big win. The water dries quickly, so the books are ready to go again in no time. The pages don’t get soggy either, so I can toss them back in my bag without worrying about a mess. One small note and the reason for 4 stars — younger kids might press too hard and damage the water pen, so there’s a little bit of a learning curve if you want it to stay reusable. When they get damaged there’s nothing to do except buy new books with pens or just the pens but they’re expensive… A good note is that the water reservoir lasts a while, so you’re not refilling it every few minutes.

I looooove these!
I have to say this is truly a great product & I would definitely recommend it to anybody. I used to buy the Imagine Ink! books for my 2 year old but as you know those are a one and done kinda deal & after paying $5-$6 for something she used for less than 30 mins became kinda frustrating. I researched a bit more & found these. They’re completely reusable & its such a life saver for going out to restaurants & the like. I do have 2 suggestions to make them last longer: 1. Have a piece of paper towel with you when using and (pat down) dry the excess water that remains on top of the picture and the cardboard to avoid it warping too quickly. As you can see in my pictures it erases itself super well after less than 10 mins. 2. Explain to your kid to paint with a light hand onto the picture, because if they use too much force the white film will scrape off resulting in damage & the color picture to see through. My daughter has scratched a bit some of the pictures so I’m always attentive to explain to her not to. Shes only 2, so probably a 3-5 year old (intended age for these) would be more careful. Buy them! They’re awesome. Youll never have to buy the one time use ones ever again and that’s a huge plus.

These look like great fun and perfect for travel but the packaging has spoilt the covers of all 3 books. I wanted to gift one but can’t now.
