Cleaner/Primer for loctite
This is the good stuff. If you ever wondered if thread locker or sleeve locking compound would hold something that is greasy or dirty, it really doesn't - at least not very well. Use this stuff to clean down to bare metal, apply the locking compound, and it will hold much better. Not only is it a primer, but it is also an activator, and (according to the label) it helps things cure faster. I don't know about that, but I do know I had a bolt that kept coming loose even with the high strength red loctite, and when using this, it has stayed tight. I never could get the threads perfectly 'clean' before, and I think that is the difference. There may be other things that would have worked, but I can say for sure this did the job.
