Festool 577257 Standard Cleaning Set RS-ST D 27/36-Plus

If you are committed to the Festool ecosystem, you know the drill. Everything seems to cost more than it should. But then you finally win, or loose the mental tennis match and break down and buy the tool or the accessories (and that is one of the prevailing overarching factors, the availability of truly useful/thoughtful/functional accessories) only to come to the realization that in the end it is really an excellent product and while expensive in comparison to mainstream equipment, works significantly better in conjunction with all the other elements especially as a system. Same story here. While the cost of a hose fitting kit shouldn't cost over one hundred bucks, once you have it and it is in its systainer and it is conveniently located on top of your dust extraction unit etc etc it all make sence. Shut up, settle down and just buy it. You won't regret it in the morning. I mean you spent between 600 and 900 bucks for a glorified vacuum right? And, once you came to terms with that, you came to realize it works so well and is so quite and the thought of your tools vomiting dust all over the place when there is a totally effective solution, you can justify buying another one cause who wants to keep swapping the hose from one tool to the other constantly, I mean really ;)

A must have with the Festool Cleaner. Adds a full range of functionality to a great vac system.

At first take this might seem extremely pricey for a few clean-up tools for a vac but like everything Festool makes, these are very good quality. Heavy plastic parts that fit the system perfectly. All packed in a systainer that attaches to the top of the dust extractor. Said sytainer goes for $70 empty, so this is not a ridiculous price for the set if you want good tools that work with your Festool system. I understand, not for everyone; but just for the record, this is how we used to make things in the USA. I am most pleased with the set.

The Festool cleaning set works perfectly with my Festool CT 26 extractor. I love that the set fits nicely in the systainer which can be stored on the dust extractor. For years I spent way too much time mixing, matching, and labeling a variety of generic vacuum accessories in order use my CT 26

Works well with my Festool dust extractor. Pretty expensive for what you get. But that's normal with Festool accessories.

...I have had my Festool vacuum for a couple of years, and I love the tools and attachments (well worth the price in MHO). I bought these last month because it dawned on me that I did not need to use a shop vac when I have this beauty! I don't know why I didn't buy them when I bought the machine! Convenient and a game changed for working in a small space.

While I do agree that these should be included with the vacs. These are nice quality and work well. I especially like the case and wheels on the floor cleaning attachment
