Christopher's Original Formulas Herbal Calcium Extract, Natural Bone Health Support, 2 oz

i'm currently on my second bottle. i bought this initially after seeing a nail chart showing what different deficiencies can look like and thought i might be lacking in calcium. i'm not much of a milk drinker so i figured this would be my best bet. i love christophers supplements! my first bottle i think i used pretty infrequently, maybe 2 droppers in a glass of water a day, as opposed to the 2 droppers 3 times a day like they suggest. even with that little boost, i noticed my nails became stronger and healthier. this is my second bottle, and ive also given one to a neighbor. i still only take it twice a day, only because it's easier for me to remember to take it when i'm taking my other supplements. the taste is so light and subtle, i can give it to my children easily, and i do so often, mixing it in with their apple juice or into their tea.

I've always liked the Christopher's products. Hope this calcium works to help bone strength. Will see, itthe taste is not bad so it's easy to take

After reading that liquid/tinctures were more bioavailable, I found Herbal Calcium Extract, I thought I would give it a try especially since I am not a fan of swallowing pills. As I was finishing my first bottle I noticed my nails were stronger, they usually break easily and I had a lot of new hair growth. I am hoping that is an indicator of good things happening internally as well. I put 20 drops in my morning tea and 20 drops at night in a small amount of water. The taste is pretty neutral, someone mentioned a weak tea flavor, I would say that describes it well. Very happy with this product and other products I have purchased from Christopher's.

This arrived in perfect condition. It taste like cinnamon which was a surprise to me. I have no idea if herbal calcium is better than calcium carbornate or citrate supplements (no studies that I've seen) but I like the idea of herbal calcium over those chalky white pills that are now suspected to possibly be harmful for some people but it's not conclusive. I do know, Herbal Calcium is more expensive than reg. calcium supplements by far. There's no way to get 1200 mg's daily of the Herbal calcium without going broke so, you have to make sure you're also including calcium rich foods if you supplement with herbal calcium only. I'm scheduled for a dex scan in the fall of 2014 and I'll see if Dr. Christopher's Herbal Calcium supplement in capsules & liquid extract (I'm taking both but not at the same time) has any real significant bone building benefits or not.
