DEWALT 60V MAX* FLEXVOLT Lithium Battery with Charger, 9-Ah (DCB118X1)

Shipping was fast compared to a lot of other things I order, as I live in northern Alaska so it’s expected to take longer. The battery is in use daily and is preforming great as is the charger, happy man here!

Perfect, exactly what I needed for my 60v chainsaw

This 9AH battery really helps if you use the Dewalt DCBL722B leaf blower. We are getting 30-40 minutes of blowing time, with the blower in use most of that time - meaning the blower trigger is on most of the time, but not on non-stop. The is how we regularly use the blower and we're very happy. The battery is certainly heavier than say a 5AH, but my wife hasn't complained about it so neither will I. My understanding is they changed the DCBL722B slightly from the previous version to allow the blower to use this battery. Good thing, as the 5AH batteries only lasted maybe 15-20 minutes.

These are the recommended batteries for DeWalt, we are currently testing the knock off batteries to see how they compare. Extremely expensive which is why I knocked off a star

Durable and long lasting

Heavy but that’s to be expected. Used it for our chainsaw and love the convenience! Even with the power that a chainsaw pulls last longer than expected.

I cannot speak to the longevity of these as I have only had them for a couple of months. I use this battery on a trimmer, a blower, and a chainsaw. I trimmer will take a leg off, the blower hits the kids across the street (variable speed is a godsend) and the chainsaw hasn't run out of juice on 3-4 hour "limbing" projects. I have not tried to use the chain saw all day so dont know the max life of the battery there. Important note! This fast charger pulls a ton of amperage for a charger. make sure you dont put is on an exterior GFCI ac plug. It may pop the fuse. I purchased a GFCI powerstrip that is pretty burly. since then no problems
