Lockout protection for home panels
This is the solution if you need lockout protection for consumer breakers. Protect yourself from someone energizing the breaker you turned off, and also leave a job site with confidence that no one will energize the circuit that you're not quite finished working on. Much easier than opening the panel and lifting the lead... Be sure to have a lock that fits.

Lock out
For a breaker lockout, this item is great. Easy to use and fits on most any breaker . I have used them on single pole, double pole and three pole breakers.

Doesn't fit Square D QO AFCI/CAFCI/GFCI/DFCI
The product is well made, easy to use, and will work with many styles of breakers. However, the cam interferes with the protrusion on Square D QO AFCI/CAFCI/GFCI/DFCI breakers. If you are trying to lockout one of those then you will need a different product. I would give it 5 stars if it worked with those styles as well as traditional style breakers.

Fantastic! Definitely recommend!!
I wasted $99 at Home Depot for some crappy lockout kit that barely works well, especially doesn't work for locking out more than 1 of any type of breaker. HOWEVER these lockouts are fantastic! Very solidly built, and very effective! I love that I can buy as many individual pieces as I want, rather than having to buy a whole kit! They also work really well on light switches. I definitely recommend these.

Cannot be too safe
I use LOTO (lock out tag out) at work and realized that I really needed something at home for when I'm doing electrical work, I wouldn't expect someone to reset the breaker but you never know. I haven't used this yet but did try fitting it to my household breaker and it worked flawlessly. Once closed I tried pulling on the lock and just couldn't get it off. A lock should easily fit amd work with this, just make sure to use a lock that either you have all keys for or only you know the combo to. I will say though that with this on the breaker the breaker door cannot fully close but this was to be expected. I know this can be very handy someday if my son just won't listen I can shut electricity off to his room (or at least that is what I would have liked to do to my brother growing up at times, haha).

Perfect and much cheaper than when bought in a kit
Works perfectly for the electrical panel board at my job site. Still works like a charm. Purchased this for work and did not want to spend ridiculous amounts of cash for a Lock/out Tag/out kit. So purchased the items seperately and it was much cheaper and only purchased what I needed. No Waste!

Works really well. You tighten it until just touching ...
Works really well. You tighten it until just touching, then it cams on when you close it. No play at all. You'll start to disconnect the breaker, and this still won't come old
